my boyfriend of two years broke up with me a couple months ago, 8th grade we met and he came into my friend group and he played hockey so every friday night that rink he played at would have ice jam and we would all go to that rink and skate, one night he showed me this song and i could not stop listening to it and i would listen to it on the car ride to the rink and only think about him, i still remember how i felt when i would hold his hand skating falling inlove at 13. Sadly he moved away this passed summer and we broke up due to long distance. I am now 16 years old and this song showed up in my recommended and all the memories of him and i came rushing back. I wish i could go back before covid when times were simple but part of me is so glad all that happened, im a new person a stronger person and ik im only 16 but falling in love at such a young age is beautiful and ill never forget my first love.
