His “be in love with” ART in general and MUSIC in particular, started since his childhood, empowered by his uncle Riyadh Al Khayat (a brilliant painter now living in Sweden). Riyadh use to take Beshar to theater plays, ballet shows and to the Academy of Fine Arts where Riyadh worked as a lecturer. Riyadh’s role and the passion for music Beshar’s father had, influenced Basher’s union with music.
He got his first instrument a violin by the age of four which he had to break it though claiming “he wants to see what’s inside this thing, that makes it function”, something he often did with his toys as well. When he became 16 he was old enough to take care of his first Guitar and 6 months later, he started jamming with his friends in high school.
By 1988 he graduated from High school. For social reasons and to satisfy his family, he joined the University of Baghdad to study Civil Engineering. Five years later, Beshar graduated holding B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, and then he left to Jordan where he started his professional career as a artist, performing as “One Man Show” in restaurants, and pubs.
During the period 1994 - 2001, he established himself in Jordan for his distinctive performances ranging from Spanish Gipsy songs and music, to old traditional Iraqi melodies. While Jordan was his transitory home country, Beshar had the experience of living and working in other places such as Dubai in the UAE. He performed live on the Jordanian Fm Radio station, and was hosted by Jordan TV on more than one occasion.
He also participated in charity concerts and events sponsored by the Royal Family in Jordan on many occasions at venues as the Royal Cultural Centre and took part in an International concert sponsored by Queen Rania of Jordan.
In 2001, and after his record deal with MBI Music Box International, Beshar moved to Europe and started a new experience. He involved himself in several events and concerts in Belgium, Italy, and Germany with different musicians from Spain, Brazil, and Belgium.
Al Beshar found the experience very inspiring and enriching. This culminated in his new style of music that he called NuName. For this purpose, he learned and introduced new instruments as the clarinet, saxophone, and percussion to his work.

Beshar Al Azzawi Lyrics

In Beshar Al Azzawi's "Blossom," the lyrics depict a narrator who is feeling love strongly in the present, but also experiencing anxiety about the future. They acknowledge that their heart desires a certain someone today, but they fear that tomorrow their heart may want someone different. The singer reflects on how they have lost themselves in the pursuit of love and that they feel both their heart and passion are lost. They question where they can find greater or better love than this.
The lyrics continue to describe the object of the singer's desire, referring to them as an empty sea with two eyes that the singer cannot seem to look away from. The singer is struck by the realization that they are not aware of what lies beyond the horizon of this person's eyes and wonders if there is a different sea out there for them to sail.
It is as if the singer is questioning the very nature of love, how it can change and waver, and whether there is meaning in pursuing it. It is a vulnerable reflection on the human struggle to figure out emotions and whether or not they are worth risking everything for.
