Their sound is often described as a clash between indie rock, dreampop and some synthpop with a great deal of melody, harmony and rhythm.

After the breakout of Genius Loki and a couple of years of work in other projects, Ed Rocha Gonçalves started a solo project and eventually invited Catarina in 2011 to record some songs. The result is the formation of Best Youth and the release of their 5 songs EP - Winterlies. Their debut full length album ‘Highway Moon’ is set for release on March 30th, 2015.
