Lord, I confess

Through Jesus' resurrection, my sins have been forgiven and my slate is wiped clean.

Thank God that stone was rolled away
Praise be to God for the resurrection and forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ.

I've been a prodigal
I have wandered away from God's path for me.

Made for Your house
I was created to be in God's Kingdom and to follow His plan for my life.

But I walked my own roads
I have chosen to follow my own desires instead of God's will for me.

Then Jesus came
Through Jesus, there is a path back to the Kingdom of God.

He tore down my prison walls
Through Jesus, I am released from the burden of my sins and their consequences.

Death came to life
Through Jesus' resurrection, death has been defeated and life can be eternal.

When He called me by name
Through Jesus, I am called back to God's Kingdom and shown a new path for my life.

And I can see it now
I can visualize the Kingdom of God where I am reunited with my loved ones and God's plan becomes clear.

Smiling in Heaven, You and I, You and I
In the Kingdom of God, there is no pain or suffering and we can be reunited with those who have passed away.

And I see bright, crimson robes draped over the ashes
The blood of Jesus, represented by the crimson robes, covers the ashes of my sins and makes me new.

A wide, open tomb where there should be a casket
Through the resurrection, the tomb and death are no longer the end, but a new beginning through Jesus.

The children are singing, and dancing, and laughing
The Kingdom of God is full of joy and laughter for all who enter.

The Father is welcoming
God always welcomes those who enter His Kingdom with love and forgiveness.

This is our homecoming
Through Jesus, we can find our true home in the Kingdom of God.

Roses in bloom pushed up from the embers
From the ashes of our past mistakes, we can find beauty and growth through Jesus.

Our rivers of tears flow from good times remembered
We may mourn our past mistakes, but we can find hope in the joy and love we have experienced in God's Kingdom.

Families are singing, and dancing, and laughing
The joy of the Kingdom of God is made complete through the love and community of those we cherish the most.

Heaven joins in with a glorious sound
All of Heaven rejoices when someone returns to God's Kingdom.

And the great cloud of witnesses all gather 'round
Those who have passed on before us gather around to welcome us home and celebrate our return to God's Kingdom.

'Cause the ones that were lost are finally found
Through Jesus, anyone who has strayed from God's path can find their way back to the Kingdom of God.

The Father is welcoming
God is always ready to welcome His children back to His Kingdom with open arms and a forgiving heart.

This is our homecoming
Through Jesus, we can find our true home in the Kingdom of God.
