Her third solo album, I Am… Sasha Fierce, was released in November 2008, and in 2009 she received 10 Grammy Awards nominations. We got the swag sauce, she dripping swagu, ooh
You a bad girl and your friends bad too, ooh
You got the swag sauce, she dripping swagu, ooh
I may be young, but I'm ready
To give you all my love
I told my girls you can get it
So in love
I'll give it all away
Just don't tell nobody tomorrow
So tonight
I'll do it every way
Speakers knockin' 'til the morning light
'Cause we like to party
(I don't know what y'all do)
Hey, hey, hey (but we like to party, we like to party)
Hey, hey, hey (I don't know what y'all do, but we like to party)
(Party, party, party, hey)
'Cause we like to party
(I don't know what y'all do)
Hey, hey, hey (but we like to party, we like to party)
Hey, hey, hey (I don't know what y'all do, but we like to party)
(Party, party)
'Cause we like to party
Your touch is driving me crazy
I can't explain the way I feel
Top down with the radio on
And the night belongs to us
Just hold me close, don't let me go
So in love
I don't care what they say
I don't care if they talking tomorrow
'Cause tonight's the night, oh-oh-oh-oh
That I give you everything
Music knockin' 'til the morning light (hey)
'Cause we like to party (hey, uh)
We out in Abu Dhabi, we like to party
We don't cause trouble, we just ride Bugatti
Bad chick, shawty, sorta resemble Sade
Imported her in from Raleigh
And pulled up into the valet
The boy dropped the keys tryna sneak-a-peek at that body
See this that time of the week, she like to freak-a-leak and get naughty
Therefore I like to thank God and Ice Cube for Friday
'Cause la-di-da-di ('cause we like to party)
So in love (hey)
I'll give it all away
Just don't tell nobody tomorrow
'Cause tonight's the night, oh-oh-oh-oh
That I give you everything
Music knockin' 'til the morning light
'Cause we like to party
(I don't know what y'all do)
Hey, hey, hey (but we like to party, we like to party)
Hey, hey, hey, hey (I don't know what y'all do, but we like to party)
(Party, party, party, hey)
'Cause we like to party
(I don't know what y'all do)
Hey, hey, hey (but we like to party, we like to party)
Hey, hey, hey (I don't know what y'all do, but we like to party)
(Party, party, party, hey)
'Cause we like to party
You a bad girl and your friends bad too, ooh
We got the swag sauce, she dripping swagu, ooh
You a bad girl and your friends bad too, ooh
You got the swag sauce, she dripping swagu, ooh
The first verse of Beyoncé's song "Party" talks about a group of bad girls who have the swag sauce and then emphasizes how she is young, but ready to give all her love. The singer urges her girls to enjoy the moment without slowing down and just letting go. Beyoncé then proceeds to say that she will give away all her love, and they should not tell anyone about the party because tonight is the night for love, and they will keep knocking until the morning light. The following verse is a continuation of the love story, where she expresses her emotions towards the guy by saying that his touch is driving her crazy, and she cannot explain how she feels.
The chorus describes the party atmosphere, and the lines suggest that the group loves to party. In the bridge, Beyoncé sets the scene, where it is hot, but she is not worried about others because they would instead worry about her. Later she mentions the title of the song by saying, "Cause we like to party" She wraps up the song with the same first verse, highlighting that her group and her guy have the swag and adds some twists.
