Big Scarr initially didn't have a passion for rap music and started gaining interest due to his friend and fellow artist Baby K. In 2019, he released his first track "Make a Play" which received 50,000 views on YouTube. He recalls spending $20 to record his first song and $200 to record the music video. In 2020, he signed to American rapper Gucci Mane's record label 1017 Records under Atlantic Records. In 2021, he released "SoIcyBoyz" featuring his cousin Pooh Shiesty and American rapper Foogiano. He released two other installments in the series, titled "SoIcyBoyz 2" and "SoIcyBoyz 3". The second and third installments include a feature from producer Tay Keith, whilst the third installment features Gucci Mane.
Big Scarr's debut mixtape, Big Grim Reaper, was released on April 16, 2021, and peaked at number 25 on the Billboard 200, selling 22,000 copies in its first week. This earned Big Scarr his first charting project. The mixtape included appearances from rappers Gucci Mane, Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano, Tay Keith, Enchanting, and Baby K. In February 2022, he released the deluxe of his mixtape Big Grim Reaper titled Big Grim Reaper: The Return with appearances from rappers Offset, Gucci Mane, and Queez Ruthless. In June 2022, he was selected as part of the 2022 XXL Freshman class where he performed his freestyle in a cypher alongside rappers Nardo Wick, KenTheMan, and Big30.
According to Woods' family, he died on December 22, 2022, from an accidental prescription drug overdose. He was 22 years old.

Gotta separate real from the fake
Gotta let go of them niggas that brandish the weight and just want the food on your plate
I got some niggas I love to death, but I ain't know 'bout the envy and hate
It's crazy, the closest ones to you'll lay right up under you like you went ordered some snakes
The shit that I say, only real can relate
So I stay to myself every day
Fuck everybody who say I couldn't do it or can't, bitch, I made a bond with them Franks
I took my L's without a complaint, it's about what you do and you think
I done seen niggas jump out of that water and sink, couldn't make it back up to the bank
It's crazy 'cause now when I walk in the bank, I go straight to the back and they offer champagne
These niggas really don't know about pain, remember them nights had to walk in the rain
But look at me now, guess that's part of the game
There shall not be no success without struggle, my daddy told me, "Keep that shit in your brain"
I just let y'all know this shit
You know I ain't been movin' real fast on the music shit
Really don't like lettin' people know what's goin' on
my problems, I keep it on the inside, I don't like ventin' (I don't vent to nobody really)
What it is? What it is?
Straight like that
I ain't gotta understand
Fuck everybody and how they feel
Big Grim Reaper Gang
Put nobody in my business, they gon' blemish a nigga image anyway
Fuck everybody and how they feel
Fuck you
Gotta separate real from the fake
Gotta let go of them niggas that brandish the weight and just want the food on your plate
I got some niggas I love to death, but I ain't know 'bout the envy and hate
It's crazy, the closest ones to you'll lay right up under you like you went ordered some snakes
The shit that I say, only real can relate
So I stay to myself every day
Gotta watch who you be callin' your friend and your partner, they'll pop you and show at your wake
Fuck everybody who say I couldn't do it or can't, bitch, I made a bond with them Franks
I took my L's without a complaint, it's about what you do and you think
In the lyrics of Big Scarr's song "Mood," the artist reflects on the importance of discerning between genuine and fake individuals in his life. He emphasizes the need to distance himself from those who only seek to benefit from him without true loyalty or sincerity. The reference to individuals who "brandish the weight and just want the food on your plate" highlights the concept of people who are only interested in material gain and not genuine connection.
Furthermore, Big Scarr delves into the complexity of relationships, acknowledging that even those he loves deeply may harbor feelings of envy and hate towards him. He expresses disbelief at how those closest to him can harbor ill intentions, likening them to hidden snakes waiting to strike. This illustrates a sense of betrayal and a realization of the harsh realities of human nature, where envy and deceit can exist even among those we trust the most.
The artist also speaks about facing challenges and obstacles in his journey to success. He mentions experiencing struggles and setbacks, such as walking in the rain and enduring tough times, but he persevered and took his losses without complaint. This resilience and determination despite adversity reflect his belief in the importance of actions and mindset in overcoming difficulties and achieving goals.
Overall, the lyrics convey a sense of self-reliance and guardedness, with Big Scarr choosing to keep his troubles to himself rather than venting to others. He adopts a tough, no-nonsense attitude towards those who doubt him or try to diminish his image. The repeated refrain of "Fuck everybody and how they feel" emphasizes his commitment to staying true to himself and prioritizing his own well-being and success above all else.
