Same kinda, I had a piece of metal at work go right through my face. Just a few months ago. The tip of a piece of angled aluminum got me. Right under my nose, and right above my lip, that’s where it tore through. Knocked a hole in my front teeth as well. Left a nice v shaped scar lol. It definitely affects your confidence. When something happens to your face it changes your identity, it just hits different than another kind of injury. I got lucky though, I’m just really glad I didn’t lose an eye, or have it tear off a part of my nose. All in all you got look at the positives. It can always get worse.

Any advice for having work done after accident? I had something similar happen, no skin nerve damage luckily, but severe tooth damage. I am just lost trying to find a way to get it repaired. I finally found a job with dental insurance but it still only covers minimal amounts and is going to cost in the neighborhood of $25-30k to completely fix my teeth, which at my current salary will take 12-15years to save up.

Very inspiring.. I had a dog bite my lip completely in half obviously it wasn't as bad as this... and it was my bottom right. Thank God the doctor was able to fix it with some stitches, I still have a scar. I apreciate how positive she is. that is a huge adjustment, especially being a model. Go immediately to a plastic surgeon if at all possible instead of a general surgeon when things like this happen. Dana White even spoke about it — he stopped having doctors stitch fighters up & instead keeps plastic surgeons on standby bc they both do the same job but one does it beautifully

Yeah I certainly would be very hesitant to take a picture of myself after being attacked. I just can't stand the very thought of taking a picture of myself in a very compromised state both physically and mentally

I was almost murdered at my past job this may (it was a strangulation attempted murder, the man was caught and hes in jail waiting trial) and when I got to the hospital and was able to use the restroom I saw the damage to my face and neck that was caused and I took photos out of disbelief that I looked so bad. I even said "Oh my god" so loud the nurse heard me and asked if I needed any help to which I told her I was seeing the damage for the first time. Honestly Adrenaline is a great thing for cases like this.

I can’t believe this.
This woman is not brave, she is much much more then brave.

I would never trust an animal near me. Doesnt matter if its wild animals or domesticated. They can trigger at anytime, this video is proof out of many videos Ive seen over the years.
