Definitely great talent between Bing Crosby's singing and his brother Bob Crosby's orchestra. 🕊🎶😊🌹

Trombonology Erstwhile

The trad jazz Bob Cats were actually very effective on the country numbers they occasionally played -- and of course Bing could sing anything! The front line of Yank Lawson, Matty Matlock, Eddie Miller and Floyd O'Brien are great here, as is traps man Bauduc.

I totally agree with you.-

Interesting cut. Like the swing side of this classic

David Harstin

I had never heard Bing's rendition of Ernest Tubb's 1941 hit until just now. You know Ernest laughed his way to the bank upon learning that the biggest singer and movie star of the time had recorded his song. Perhaps the only thing that would have made this cut a little better would've been additional vocals from the Andrews Sisters. I can just here them singing on this one!

Satan's Legion of Evil

This is what happens when both Crosbies perform a song together.

Captain Rell

Another song for the Wasteland. Keep carrying on you Lone Wanderers, Couriers and Sole Survivors

Banjos for Breakfast

I read somewhere that Ernest Tubb wrote this when his first wife, Lois, went home to her mother after an argument. This version is very cool, but nobody is as sincere as Ernest!😊

Charlie Simmons

Wow! I always thought Ernest Tubb wrote it. I've sang it for years. Love Ernest but, nobody can match Bing.

michael snider

Tubb wrote it. Look at the credit on the label
