The band swings and Bing does his thing. What a great combination!

@rockobill7637

you can actually almost picture bing grooving along with the band

Boy.....it really don’t get much better. Great horn arrangements!

@Trombonology

My introduction to this number came when we kids in a Southeastern MI fifth grade music class were called upon to sing it. I'm afraid our rendition, however enthusiastic the claps of some of us, fell rather short of the majesty of Bing's with Woody's choppin' crew. Mr Cros, native son of WA, sounds like an authentic Texan here, at least in terms of spirit. Neil Reid's buzzy trombone and Frank Carlson's drums are highlights, too.

I remember hearing this on a jazz radio and it has been one of my favorites since :)

Great song and a very nice rendition by Bing Crosby.

@BigAussieJoe

Goering was humming this, when he took his last "Medication" given to him, by "Tex"...🤣

@bagelboy7437

The record clearly states for use in phonographs in homes only, I’m ringing Mr. Decca right now

@ananonymoususer4698

Just learned the beeb banned this in the 40s for being too upbeat and distracting. Lol.
