I took a couple of flicks and she was enthused
I took some pictures of her and she seemed excited about it.

I said, "How do you like the show?" She said, "I was very amused"
I asked how she enjoyed the concert and she responded positively.

I started throwin' bass, she started throwin' back mid range
I began flirting with her and she responded with some mild flirtation of her own.

But when I sprung the question, she acted kind of strange
But when I asked her if she had a boyfriend, she became evasive.

Then when I asked, "Do you have a man?", she tried to pretend
When I asked her if she had a boyfriend, she tried to deny it.

She said, "No, I don't, I only have a friend"
She claimed that she didn't have a boyfriend, only a friend.

So I took blah blah's word for it at this time
So I took her explanation at face value.

I thought just havin' a friend couldn't be no crime
I didn't think it was a problem for her to have a male friend.

'Cause I have friends and that's a fact
I pointed out that I have plenty of female friends myself.

Like Agnes, Agatha, Germaine, and Jack
I listed some of the female friends I had.

Forget about that, let's go into the story
But let's move on to what happened next in my own story.

About a girl named "blah, blah, blah" that adored me
About this girl I was talking to who really liked me.

So we started talkin', gettin' familiar
So we started conversing and getting to know each other better.

Spendin' a lot of time, so we can build a
We spent a lot of time together, working on building a relationship.

Relationship or some understanding
Either a romantic relationship or just a general understanding between us.

How it's gonna be in the future we was plannin'
We talked about how things might develop in the future and made plans accordingly.

Everything sounded so dandy and sweet
Everything seemed to be going very well and we were both happy with how things were going.

I had no idea I was in for a treat
I had no idea that there was trouble brewing ahead.

After this was established, everything was cool
After we had established our understanding, things seemed to be going very smoothly.

The tour was over and she went back to school
After the concert tour had ended, she went back to college.

I called every day to see how she was doin'
I called her every day to check in and see how she was doing.

Every time that I called her, it seemed somethin' was brewin'
But it seemed like something was always going on whenever I called her.

I called her room, a guy picked up, and then I called again
One time when I called, a man answered the phone in her room, so I called back again.

I say, "Yo, who was that?" "Oh, he's just a friend"
I asked who the guy was and she claimed that he was just a friend.

Don't gimme that, don't even gimme that
I didn't believe her and told her not to try to deceive me.

So, I came to her college on a surprise visit
So I decided to make a surprise visit to her college.

To see my girl, that was so exquisite
To see this incredible girl that I was so into.

It was a school day, I knew she was there
I knew she would be at school that day.

The first semester of the school year
It was during the first semester of the school year.

I went to a gate to ask where was her dorm
I went to the gate to ask where her dormitory was located.

This guy made me fill out a visitor's form
The security guard made me fill out a form to enter the premises.

He told me where it was and I was on my way
After filling out the form, he told me where her dorm was and I headed there.

To see my baby doll, I was happy to say
I was excited to see my girlfriend and couldn't wait to catch up with her.

I arrived in front of the dormitory
When I arrived at the dorm, I stood in front of it.

"Yo, could you tell me where is door three?"
I asked someone nearby where her dorm room was located.

They showed me where it was for the moment
They pointed me in the right direction.

I didn't know I was in for such an event
I had no idea what was about to happen.

So, I came to her room and opened the door
I went to her dorm room and opened the door.

Oh, snap, guess what I saw?
But to my surprise, I saw something very unexpected.

A fella tongue kissin' my girl in her mouth
I saw a guy kissing my girlfriend with his tongue.

I was so in shock, my heart went down south
I was so shocked and hurt that it felt like my heart had sunk to the bottom of my stomach.

So please, listen to the message that I send
So, in conclusion, I want you to take away this message from my story.

Don't ever talk to a girl who says she just has a friend
Don't ever trust a girl who claims that a guy is just her friend.
