You are where you need to be
You be you, I'll be me
It's so easy
No matter where you are
You are where you are
You are where you are right now
You be you, I'll be me

No matter where you are
You are who you are
You are who you are right now
You are who you ought to be
You are you perfectly

"Ooohohohh, oohhhh
You wake up, sun up
Almond milk in your coffee
I'm laid up on a sofa
With a guitar shaped like your body
While you pull a little sip
And sway your caffeinated hips
Brown skin momma
The morning's sweet when you're by me
Fill up my cup
You ask me how I like it baby
My love
You already know
I take it black like you
I take it black like you
Little sugar
I take it black like-
Ahh, love me in the morning
Will you
Love me in the morning time?
Bare skin, no makeup
You rule my work in silk 'jamas
Closed in, guarded
You came to me with caution
But when you're done with being strong
I can love you till your soft
We can create our own
Safe space for love
So fill up my cup
Ask me how I like it baby
My love, you already know
I take it black like you, oh
I take it black like you
Just like you are, I take it black like you, baby
I take it black like you (take it black like you)
I've been fiending for a minute baby
Sentimental for your cinnamon shade
Oh my God, you drive me crazy
Ooh, tell me where you come from
Let me in your water
And we can make some new life with out love
And make them black like you (make them black like you)
Let's make them black like you
Oh, 'cause I love ya
I take it black like you
Love me in the morning,
Oh, love me in the morning time"
