When you can't play harmonica , play cowbell, When you can't play cowbell, play washboard.

After watching a lot of BOA videos, I have come to appreciate that these guys were terrific musicians, not the clowns that many have said they are.

JIM DANDY TO THE RESCUE!!!!!!!!! One of the best frontmen in the history of Rock 'N' Roll but so underrated.

Amen

@smscamp3016

totally underrated band, some of the funkiest music ever played, but suffer at the hands of of music critics who write to show how intelligent they are, and this is hard to do with a band that never takes itself seriously and likes to have a good time with the audience, and the material shows it

@The_First_Connection

TO ALL YOU YOUNG PEOPLE THIS IS HOW WE ROCKED IN THE SEVENTIES.

@dennismccunney4462

I saw these guys in Philadelphia back in 1973. Jim Dandy grabs the mic, and announces "Me and the band got fucked up on grass and psilocybin, and went out into the Arkansas hills, and wrote this here song we're gonna play for you!". They then laid more fine crunchy hard core rock on us. The word I use to describe these guys is Authentic

@SuperMatrix59

Black Oak I believe is remembered more that they weren’t a global touring band. I mean Ruby and him. That shit was gold.
