Dope review I'm still a Senior fan I love them corded and cordless I have the corded ones and used the cordless one of my friends have its dope no doubt just feel the corded ones are a little more powerful never tried any of Babyliss clippers may have to look into them just not the corded from what you are telling me.. salute to the real the whole Tomb 45 Squad and all barbers changing the game and educated us. Always looking for knowledge and growth.

Cordless Seniors with the W! The Babylis are just really big and the truth is if Wahl was to make the senior that big, they would easily be able to make their Seniors last longer and cut stronger but they managed to get just the right amount out of their clippers in a small package. They actually went smaller than their corded version so that in itself is pretty crazy.

A precious review, i was on the fence about whether or not to buy this. Thank God i didn't! I am still looking for a professional hair clipper for my diy buzz cut - nothing fancy, but i have thick and strong hair and i need a machine powerful enough to get the job done quick. Is either Oster or Moser a good alternative? Which models of each? I prefer the corded variety (they tend to be cheaper as well ;-)

Being a left handed barber, wahl feels like garbage in my hand. If you notice, wahl's design, is made to fit perfectly in the right hand, not just the lever, but the actual grooves in the cover and the shape of the housing.

Babyliss however, has a cylindrical design which sits nicely in any hand. The lever will always get in the way, but that's because the world learned to do everything with the wrong hand. 😂

Chris Bossio daaamn, bossio! I’m one of the few that thought that the envy’s were pretty good, or at least comparable to the magic clips (guards aside). I actually ended up buying babyliss because on eBay, they were more affordable that the brands they were knocking of. Lol. But I understand that at some point you have to hold your arsenal to a higher standard.

I'm glad these clippers are good as I really like the trimmers and I'm getting tired of wahl chargers, I've gone through so many and I'm not heavy handed and take care of my kit but they are cheaply made and not good enough for everyday professional use unfortunately.

Hey everyone, I was wondering if these are good for trimming down and fading in a beard? I’m not a barber and would only be using these to do my own beard at home. I get my haircut by a barber though. Would these be worth buying if I’d only be using them to do my beard? I currently have the wahl peanut clippers to trim my beard. I keep my beard at about a number 2 but I’m looking for something with a lever to achieve that faded look at the sideburns. I just bought the fx787g for outlining and waiting on those to come in. I just got my Babyliss Clipper and Trimmer in Rose Gold, Senior have been my favorite and the Magic. Once we re open I can really test my new Babyliss. But from photos. Iv seen of the cuts the blending is trash and im kinda worried now.

hey what do you think of Wahl magic clipper cordless? i have to bad experiences with the x880 Babyliss and want to change, and i'm not convinced enough for the x870 (cordless babyliss in this video) or the wahl magic cordless. Most of my doubt come from the blade equipated on the wahl magic cordless, that one cames with a doble dented bottom blades and the motor v9000 AGAINST the pivot motor of the babyliss x870 and the regular blades. How i said earlier, my bad experience with the x880 was that it heats, and heats a lot, is disgusting how much it heats. the noise doesn't is quiet at all.

I just put the original senior blade on my cordless seniors and i felt like that was a game changer for that clipper... did you notice a difference in how the clipper sounds when cutting hair? I feel like i can hear the hair being cut better when detailing... what are your thoughts? And you said the babyliss has a better blade.. do you mean a better blade than the factory cordless senior blade? Or better than the blade you put on them?

I agree except for the pretty part....... Wahl 1919 ALL DAY these are a STRAIGHT SHOW piece . The Guards are like the guards that you find at a garage sale still in the plastic that were never used. So basically everything that matters to the cut could be better 🤔 ok....👍🏾 put them up against the 1919 Wahl clippers

I swear!!!! Theres so much hype going around right now in my shop. I still use my master and fast feeds and get roasted. But this is my 14 yr cutting and I'm still turning out better cuts. If you look at the blades and shape they all use Andis and Wahl blades shape.

@Jose Rhode Island Yes it's not that noisy and it doesn't chip away the guards plastic that much but it grinds on the plastic the lower part of the blade it's probably because of the design of the blade, near the tip it's a little wider vertical wise compared to a Wahl blade

not the zero guard, the lower blade grinds on the plastic when the lever is fully closed if you have it zero gapped, actually if you have the blades zero gapped the blade grinds on all of them when the lever is closed all the way.
