In 2001, he made his debut with the single "Austin". The lead-off single from his self-titled debut album, "Austin" spent five weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The now Platinum-certified debut album also produced two more top 20 entries ("All Over Me" and "Ol' Red").
His second and third albums, 2003's The Dreamer and 2004's Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill, are gold and platinum, respectively. His fourth album, Pure BS (2007), was re-issued in 2008 with a cover of Michael Bublé's pop hit "Home" as one of the bonus tracks. His fifth album, Startin' Fires was released in November 2008. It was followed by the extended plays Hillbilly Bone and All About Tonight in 2010, and the albums Red River Blue in 2011, Based on a True Story... in 2013, Bringing Back the Sunshine in 2014, If I'm Honest in 2016, Texoma Shore in 2017, and Fully Loaded: God's Country in 2019.

Sunny In Seattle
Blake Shelton Lyrics

And them boys from Amarillo stop wearin' those boots and jeans
When Memphis ain't got the blues
That's when I'll stop lovin' you
When it's sunny in Seattle and it's snowing down in New Orleans
Baby, I don't mind you askin'
If there's gonna come a day
Maybe, I guess anything could happen
But it's as close to never
As your ever gonna find
When it's sunny in Seattle and it's snowing down in New Orleans
And them boys from Amarillo stop wearin' those boots and jeans
When there's no tequila in Mexico
That's when I'm gonna let you go
When it's sunny in Seattle and it's snowing down in New Orleans
Darlin' some things won't ever change
My love is one of those things
When New York is a one horse town
That's when I won't need ya around
When it's sunny in Seattle and it's snowing down in New Orleans
When it's sunny in Seattle and snowing down in New Orleans
The lyrics to Blake Shelton's song "Sunny In Seattle" are a playful and lighthearted take on the idea of unconditional love. The song's narrator tells his lover that he will never stop loving her, and he uses a series of absurd and exaggerated scenarios to illustrate just how unshakeable his devotion is. For example, he says that he will stop loving her when it's sunny in Seattle and snowing in New Orleans (two places where these weather patterns would be highly unlikely), or when there's no tequila in Mexico (which is also highly unlikely).
The humor in these lyrics is balanced by the underlying sincerity of the singer's message. He acknowledges that anything could happen and that there are no guarantees in life, but he is confident that his love for his partner is one constant that will never change. Overall, "Sunny In Seattle" is a fun and upbeat love song that celebrates the enduring power of true love.
