Her musical style involves the use of many pre-existing samples that are subsequently remixed and combined to create new material. Her music is influenced by many genres and artists, including the French house of Daft Punk, the feel-good and summery sounds of Saint Pepsi, and the blistering energy of Machine Girl.

Her music and image take many notes from the video games and anime that are sampled within her music. Notable sources for her tracks and imagery include the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, Neon Genesis Evangelion, FLCL, Persona, and the wider cultures of Hip-Hop and internet memes.

Blargg released her first single “Changed World” on her Soundcloud in October 2019, based on the meme of the same name. The song features jungle percussion over a Silent Hill 2 sample, with occasional sound effects and sampled vocals to provide a break in structure. Her debut EP Song Taking followed shortly after, also featuring the singles “Run! Run! Run!” and “Fun! Games! Fun & Games!” The songs featured minimal changes, with drum breaks and sound effects added on top of chopped melodies from the sampled tracks.

On Christmas 2019, Blargg would release “Stupid!” the lead single for her first album Technicolor, which released on Valentine’s Day 2020. Technicolor shares many of the same sample sources with Song Taking, but features more influence from the greater music industry, with vocals from famous rappers and pop stars being paired alongside the video game tracks. The songs feature more significant edits and many go through many different phases and unique sections during their short runtime.

Shortly after the release of Technicolor, Blargg made an effort to officially release her music on streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. Technicolor was brought to streaming services, with Song Taking later being added as well.
Blargg also used this time to create social media accounts used for promoting her music and posting memes. During the times where she isn’t releasing music, she is creating and posting on her accounts, specifically her Instagram.

In April that year, Blargg released “Origami” and started the lengthy rollout of her second album “Speedrun” which also featured the singles “Pep Rally'' and “Flash Pass”. Speedrun was the longest project released by Blargg, totaling in at forty-five minutes, and featuring a greater emphasis on slower and more relaxed songs alongside the more energetic dance tunes.

Since the release of Speedrun, Blargg has teased two different albums currently in production, as well as further established her visual identity as a musician, leaning into themes of love and queerness as means of finding happiness.
