No more kowtowing to brutal demagogues

Prioritizing their wishes over the decalogue
Putting their desires above moral principles

No longer being controlled, used, or manipulated by others

No more obsessing over others' opinions
No longer fixating on what others think of me

And looking to curb non-essential consumption
And seeking to control or reduce unnecessary consumption

Therefore, I am now able to show myself forgiveness and understanding

And work through the details of all my mistakes

Because harboring resentment has negative effects

My freedom I exercise, but in Christ
