With over 70 shows under their belt not only in Scandinavia but also in USA and more the band has shown what they can dish out. Although the band's first single might show a bit of the lighter side of Blowsight, don't be fooled. You can count on some hard driving guitars, raw but yet beautiful melodic vocals and plenty of drum abuse to come shortly after.
"We've been doing what we love most for the last 4 years while mailing demos to every record label we could find. Who would have thought we would end up getting signed for a single ("I'll Be Around") by Sony/BMG because of an internet website", vocalist/guitarist Niklas adds.
One day the band decided to upload some songs on a website called allears.se and all of a sudden they have over 25,000 plays in just two months and all 4 of their demo songs are sittin' on the top of the most sold charts.
Their debut album "Destination Terrorville" was released by the band themselves in June 2007, and has been recieved with great reviews. In summer of 2007, the band played the material at large festivals such as the Sweden Rock Festival, Rockoff and the Skellefteå Festival. In 2009, 'Destination Terrorville' is being released through Fastball Music/Sony on August 21, refueled with the bonus track 'Teenage Rockstar'
Blowsight's eagerness to experiment and evolve is lighting up their musical diversity. While the band's music has always been deeply personal, the songs can be felt emotionally by everyone who listens.
"The Band of the month" - Metal Hammer (Nov 2007)
"Eleven well written songs by a band with a great future ahead of them" - Sweden Rock Magazine
"The melodies are as strong as the variation...a hard rock buffet for anyone who is willing to broaden his/her horizon. And it tastes wonderful" - Close Up (8 out of 10)
"It should not take more than six months before this band signs a deal and starts touring the world" - Slavestate Magazine
"[Blowsight] takes a tired genre and reignites it" – Tunelab
Bus Girl

It's hard to believe all this bullshit is
Just another way to unjustice this and
Make a smile, turn around, you don't know what I want you to tell me
And if this is a nightmare then don't wake me up,
I'm already down and you can't cheer me up
Cuz this isn't easy, it all just began
Cuz you are my bus girl
All the lights are on you,
what more in this world
All the lights are on you now
Hold our bus, girl
(All the lights are on you now)
Hold our bus, girl
I'm sick and tired of this stupidity
that I'm fascinated of people's sensuality
But i'm not crazy at all
It's getting late and I'm way too pissed to smile
Been on too long, I'm off in a while
The road is dark but enlighted by the stars.
Cuz you are my bus girl
All the lights are on you,
what more in this world
All the lights are on you now
Hold our bus, girl
(All the lights are on you now)
Hold our bus, girl
And now I'm waiting for this bless
The second that you turn around
And it's impossible to know
Whenever I will hit the ground
Standin' looking over you
It's like you've never seen, anything before
No, anything before me
Cuz you are my bus girl
All the lights are on you,
what more in this world
All the lights are on you now
Hold our bus, girl
(All the lights are on you now)
Hold our bus, girl
All the lights are on you now x2
The song "Bus Girl" by Blowsight tells the story of a person who is infatuated with someone they regularly see on their bus route. The singer expresses frustration with societal norms that prevent them from expressing their true feelings to the bus girl. The lyrics convey a feeling of helplessness, as if the singer is trapped in their unrequited love, unable to escape it or express it openly.
The line "And if this is a nightmare then don't wake me up" suggests that the singer may be aware that their obsession is unhealthy, but they are unable to let it go. The repetition of "all the lights are on you now" reinforces the idea that the singer is fixated on this one person and sees them as the center of their universe.
The song has a somewhat dark, melancholic feel, as if the singer is resigned to their fate of unrequited love. However, there is also a sense of longing and hopefulness, as if the singer is still holding onto the possibility that the bus girl will one day notice them.
