Armageddon
Blue Stahli Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Come on!
Uh!

I am the beast
I am the earth
I am the blood that fills the sky
I am the feast
Of famine thirst
And every will to justify

(Come on, come on!)
(C-c-come on!)
(Come on, come on!)

It's every day and every night
My own war to take it head on
With every wrong and every right
Back for more, it's Armageddon

Armageddon, come, come and get it!
Armageddon, baby (uh!)
Armageddon, come, come and get it!
Armageddon

I am the flesh
I am the flame
A temple to carnality
We are enmeshed
Sacred, profane
Reflected through brutality

(Come on, come on)
(C-c-come on)
(Come on, come on)

It's every day and every night
My own war to take it head on
With every wrong and every right
Back for more, it's Armageddon

Armageddon, come, come and get it!
Armageddon, baby (uh!)
Armageddon, come, come and get it!
Armageddon

(Come on!)
(Come on!)
(Come on!)

It's every day and every night
My own war to take it head on
With every wrong and every right
Back for more, it's Armageddon
It's every day and every night
My own war to take it head on
With every wrong and every right
Back for more, it's Armageddon

Armageddon, come, come and get it!
Armageddon, baby

Armageddon, come, come and get it!
Armageddon

Overall Meaning

The song "Armageddon" by Blue Stahli is a powerful, intense track that speaks about the internal conflict within oneself. The song begins with the singer proclaiming that he is the beast, the earth, and the blood that fills the sky. These lines give the impression that the singer is trying to convey the message that he is uncontrollable, that he has power and strength beyond measure. He goes on to say that he is the feast and thirst of famine, meaning that he is the one who brings destruction and chaos to the world, and he thrives in it. The lyrics, "every will to justify," suggest that he feels his actions are reasonable and justifiable.

The second verse speaks about the flesh and flame, the temple to carnality, and how they are all intertwined in a reflection of brutality. The singer is saying that he represents everything that is both good and evil, sacred and profane, and that he cannot be separated. The repeated lines "come on, come on" are a cry of defiance, encouraging the listener to join in his rebellion against society.

The chorus of the song is a repetition of the word "Armageddon" and how he is urging it to come and get him. Here, "Armageddon" does not refer to the end of the world but rather the conflict within himself. The song concludes with the singer talking about how every day and every night is his own war to take on, with every right and wrong, he is back for more. In essence, the song talks about a person's inner conflict, the struggle between good and evil, and how it is a constant battle that we are all fighting.

Y'know, I'm usually very picky about my music. But Blue Stahli's music is just amazing all-round!!

I love the Blue Stahli attention to midrange that the classic V has steered us away from.  Full but not fat.  Refreshing from a mix standpoint and a definitive "Blue Stahli Sound".  In keeping with the feel of the last album this will prove to be another must have in my collection.  Wonderful stuff.  MOAR!
