Yank Lawson was born in my hometown (Trenton, MO). He wrote the Five Point Blues and a prominent landmark in Trenton is Five Points. He is arguably the most noted musician in Trenton's history. I could listen to his music all day!

Recorded on March 14, 1938. Bob actually fronted "two" bands: his traditional orchestra, and the smaller "Bob Cats" Dixieland ensemble featuring selected members of the band (usually featuring Yank Lawson, Nappy Lamare, Bob Haggard and Ray Bauduc).

Wow, that's another song including the talent of clarinetist Irving Fazola which I didn't know about.I recognized his style.
