During 1970 and 1971, Wailer, Marley and Tosh worked with renowned reggae producers Leslie Kong and Lee "Scratch" Perry.
They released four albums before signing to Island Records in 1972. Two more albums were created before Tosh and Wailer left the band in 1974, citing grievances over label treatment and ideological differences. Marley carried on with a new line-up, including the I-Threes that put out seven more more albums. Marley died in 1981.
The Wailers were a groundbreaking ska and reggae group, noted for songs such as "Simmer Down", "Trenchtown Rock", "Nice Time", "War", "Stir It Up" and "Get Up, Stand Up".

And if a blood make ya run (make ya run, run, run)
Rasta de 'pon top, can't you see? (Doo-doo-doo-doo)
So you can't predict the flop eh-eh! (Doo-doo-doo-doo)

The lyrics of Bob Marley & The Wailers' song "Revolution" convey the idea of a need for a revolution to bring the truth to light, to find solutions to problems created by confusion and frustration, and to break free from oppressive systems. The song highlights the need to be alert and not trust those in power who may seek to control and manipulate. The lyrics suggest that a revolution fueled by fire, blood, and determination is needed to bring about change. The song concludes with a call for righteousness to spread across the world like water covers the sea.

@@andrewkibe4391 Aah be quiet! The world IS about competition!
And that's a fact, unless you are an idle dreamer!!
Why do they have Top Ten charts or Top of the Pops??
I repeat, Natty Dread is a most significant album for Bob Marley, it was his first studio recording without Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh!
And the official introduction of the I-Three!!!
It was a cultural and musical revolution all in one!
It blew Jimmy Cliff, Desmond Dekker and the Pioneers and all such artistes right out of the water!
@aframaco9491
@@nursemcfarlane6655 On the outset, so it does seem!
But Bob grew into that role in some sort of assisted evolution!
Marley's core attention ( and acute observation) was of his own immediate environment in Jamaica!
The clincher is that Marley's lyrics are so relatable on a global scale and right across cultures and nations!
Bob Marley, he was so right...Who Jah Bless, No One Curse!!
