The song "Usne Boje Vina" by BOBAN RAJOVIĆ is an interesting interpretation of a man's passion and desire for a woman. In the opening lines, he asks the beautiful woman to look up at the sky, in the clouds and shrubs as opposed to staring just at him. The scenario then changes to the man questioning why of all people he found her. Consequently, he feels the need to take control of her life, drown her ships, and make her lose her senses.
The chorus, Usne boje vina, roughly translates to "Lips of wine color" metaphorically refers to the physical attraction he has to her lips that he yearns to touch. The obsession is so intense that he warns her that her lips will remain a memory without lipstick, and her eyes will remain dry without tears. The white blouse symbolism is in line with the whole metaphor o the singer steering the ship of their relationship.
The second stanza of the song is a direct plea to the woman, asking her not to dream of him and implying that he is bad news for her. The song is a peculiar illustration of the vocal prowess of BOBAN RAJOVIĆ in delivering Balkan style music, and it's still considered one of the most popular songs in the Serbian music scene.
