Amonster is like the Purple People Eater, right? Frankenstein could be a monster in a slang sence of the term otherwise Frankenstein would be more like a life like robot. Anyway, no arguements as to what this monster really was, I'm just happy to know Robots won't be running this place(Vancouver, Cda) any day soon. By the way some guys have the monster in them when they expect too much to soon from some flirting female.(oh I don't like those type)...leads you on & then blows you down.

No, it's about Dr. Victor Frankenstein being nervous about his monster creation breaking loose and tracking him down. It was in 1958 that Universal Pictures issued many of their old 30's and 40's horror films by help with some TV distribution from Screen Gems on television syndication titled "Shock", "Son Of Shock" and "Shock Theatre." Among those old movies was the classic 1932 movie "Frankenstein" starring Boris Karloff as the monster. Famous TV hosts such as John Zacherele in Philadelphia and New York showed the old movies as hosts dressed up as vampires and ghouls. Zacherele would have a horror hit of his own in 1958 on Cameo Records with "Dinner With Drac Part 1". "Purple People Eater" also came out that year on MGM Records, but there was no horror movie based on that song. Finally, in 1962, Gary Paxton composed the song "Monster Mash" with Bobby "Boris" Pickett on Garpax/London Records, and it became the biggest horror/Halloween hit of all. Other horror records of 1958-1959 were "Vampira" by Bobby Bare (about a real female vampire who was a TV host showing horror movies) and "The Mummy" by comedian Bob McFadden and poet/singer Rod McKuen.
