My City has a lot of faces
London is a city of many facets with diverse people and areas.

Some can be found in forgotten places
There are hidden gems in London that can be overlooked.

Comfortably sound with a lot of graces
Despite its challenges, London is a place of comfort and charm.

The Sun could be down on his hungry town but in London he found him a shot at greatness
London provides opportunities for people to thrive even when facing difficult times.

Some can tell you what a "loss of faith" is
Some Londoners have experienced loss and disillusionment.

Be-Fore we hated people we were all created equal then we
Before prejudice and hatred, all human beings were made equally.

Learnt to despise the strife and
We learned to hate difficulties and struggles.

Forgot that variety's the spice of life – look around you
We forgot that diversity is what makes life interesting and should be appreciated.

Constantly standing on the brink of history
London is a historically significant city with always something happening.

Watching Newsreaders linking mysteries
Watching news can be confusing and mysterious.

Even though a few reporters taught us to be cautious 'cause they
Some journalists have made us wary of news stories.

Stink of this disease called inconsistency
Failed journalism leads to misinformation and mistrust.

Four of them belonging to Big Ben
There are many famous landmarks in London, including Big Ben.

The rest of them hidden behind big business and Big Brother
Much of London is controlled by corporations and government.

Ensures all of them are monitored with them
The government watches over everything and everyone in London.

Under social tensions you can see London languishes
London struggles with social unrest.

London is home to a vast amount of ethnicities and languages.

Differences – race and class, it's all enormous
Issues of race and class are large and impactful in London.

But the common ground we found surpasses all the borders
Despite differences, Londoners share a common bond and respect.

Some Londoners want to impress wealthy people and gain their favor.

Or his sons. We all live once
We should all strive to make the most of our lives.

And who among us wouldn't want all of his funds?
Money is desirable but often unattainable.

That's rhetorical but I don't need call and response
The question is not meant to be answered but to be thought-provoking.

To know that's how Londoners are from time to time
This behavior is common amongst some Londoners at times.

Only got the time to grind and whine
Life in London can be exhausting and frustrating at times.

Technically I'm from an elegant city but I'm not the kind to wine and dine
Despite being from a glamorous city, Bodhi prefers a simpler lifestyle.

I grew up around lots of crime, the violent kind
Bodhi has experienced criminal activity in his upbringing.

You might have heard about the rocks, the grime, the hype and shine
London's reputation includes both good and bad elements.

It's not just Cockney rhyming slang
London's dialect is not solely based on Cockney slang.

we've got block-beef, violent gangs
London has issues with gang-related activity and conflict.

Awkward interactions which most don't force
Social interactions can be uncomfortable for some and avoided.

Children navigating through postcode wars
Young people in London are affected by neighborhood conflicts.

In estates with the least funding, look at the state of East London
Areas with low income have difficulty obtaining necessary resources, such as in East London.

That's a paradox
The situation presents a contradiction or irony.

Witness economy blooming for the have-a-lots
The wealthy enjoy the benefits of a thriving economy.

Business is gonna be booming
London's economy is expected to continue growing.

But there's a difference between having a front row seat and watching from the sidelines
There is a difference between experiencing success firsthand and watching from afar.

TFL knows the world is your Oyster as long as you can afford it
The public transportation system in London can take you everywhere--if you can pay for it.

Even though you might need to re-mortgage just to get from Aldwych to Shoreditch
London's high cost of living can make everyday expenses feel overwhelming.

Inconvenient if you're poor, which
People in poverty are faced with more challenges in London.

Could be expected in a tax system where the more rich get more rich
The current tax system in London perpetuates a wealth gap and disparities.

273 times the wealth of the poorest yet your door is next door to the extra poor
The wealthy are much richer than the poorest yet reside close to them.

We look on the bright side but we're vexed for sure
Londoners try to stay optimistic but still have struggles.

Like all we have to ourselves is sex and war
People in London feel overwhelmed by societal issues and conflicts.

And a lot of diversity, so what could I personally hate a complexion for?
London's diversity should help people appreciate and respect different skin types.

I see different coloured hands outstretched for more
People of all races and ethnicities are striving for better opportunities.

Feel free to come to London and still see the London Dungeon
Despite the city's modernity, there are still historical aspects of old, dark London to be experienced.

Experience a tube of mad claustrophobic's
Riding the underground subway can be overwhelming and uncomfortable for some.

Where food and bad posture don't mix
It's difficult to sit or eat on the tube comfortably.

And join us in moving along to the groove of the song
Bodhi invites others to enjoy the city and its music.

What a sight to see, we could swap a nicety
London is a beautiful place to visit and the people are friendly.

Some of us feel you've forgotten my city
Some people feel like London is not getting the attention it deserves.

But hopefully you'll be proving us wrong
Bodhi hopes that more people will discover and appreciate London.
