In 1984 and 1985, Bon Jovi released their first two albums and their debut single "Runaway" managed to crack the Top 40. In 1986, the band achieved widespread success and global recognition with their third album, Slippery When Wet, which sold over 20 million copies and included three Top 10 singles, two of which reached No. 1 ("You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Livin' on a Prayer") Their fourth album, New Jersey (1988), was also very successful, selling over 10 million copies and featuring five Top 10 singles (a record for a glam metal album), two of which reached No. 1 ("Bad Medicine" and "I'll Be There for You"). After the band toured and recorded extensively during the late 1980s, culminating in the 1988–1990 New Jersey Tour, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora released successful solo albums in 1990 and 1991, respectively.
In 1992, the band returned with the double-platinum Keep the Faith. This was followed by their biggest-selling and longest-charting single "Always" (1994) and the album These Days (1995), which proved to be a bigger success in Europe than in the United States, producing four Top Ten singles in the United Kingdom. Following a second hiatus, their 2000 album Crush, particularly the lead single, "It's My Life", successfully introduced the band to a younger audience, and the band considered this their comeback album. The band followed up with Bounce in 2002. The platinum albums Have a Nice Day (2005) and Lost Highway (2007) saw the band incorporate elements of country music into some of the songs, including the 2006 single "Who Says You Can't Go Home", which won the band a Grammy Award and became the first single by a rock band to reach No. 1 on the country charts. The Circle (2009) marked a return to the band's rock sound. The band also enjoyed great success touring, with both the 2005–2006 Have a Nice Day Tour and 2007–2008 Lost Highway Tour ranking among the Top 20 highest-grossing concert tours of the 2000s. After recording and releasing Because We Can in 2013, lead guitarist Richie Sambora left the band just before an April concert during the supporting tour to spend more time with his family. The band released their first studio album without Sambora, Burning Bridges, in 2015 and the follow-up album This House Is Not for Sale in 2016, the tour for which encompassed 2017–2019. Their most recent album 2020 (2020) was re-worked to include songs inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic and George Floyd protests; its supporting tour was delayed to 2022.
Bon Jovi consisting of frontman Jon Bon Jovi, drummer Tico Torres, keyboardist David Bryan, lead guitarist Phil X, bassist Hugh McDonald and guitarist John Shanks have unveiled a video for the lead single “Legendary” from their upcoming studio album Forever, which will be released on June 7, 2024. Forever is the follow up to Bon Jovi‘s studio album 2020, which was released back on October 2, 2020.
Bon Jovi has released 15 studio albums, five compilations and three live albums. They have sold more than 120 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling American rock bands, and performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans. Bon Jovi was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2006, and into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. The band received the Award of Merit at the American Music Awards in 2004, and Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora were inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009.

And who, are you to tell me if it's black or white?
Mama, can you hear me? Try to understand
Is innocence the difference between a boy and a man
My daddy lived the lie, it's just the price that he paid
Sacrificed his life, just slavin' away
Oh, if there's one thing I hang onto
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
Take a look around you, look nothing's what it seems
We're living in the broken home of hopes and dreams
Let me be the first to shake a helping hand
With anybody, pray enough to take a stand
I've knocked on every door, on every dead end street
Looking for forgiveness
What's left to believe?
Oh, if there's one thing I hang onto
That gets me through the night
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
(Oh) oh, if there's one thing I hang onto
That gets me through the night
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
When the world keeps trying, to drag me down
I've gotta raise my hands, gonna stand my ground
I say, hey, have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
The song "Have A Nice Day" by Bon Jovi is about living life on your own terms and not letting anyone else dictate what you should do or how you should live. The lyrics challenge those who try to impose their beliefs on others, suggesting that everyone has the right to make their own choices, without judgement or criticism. The chorus of "Have a Nice Day" is an anthem for individuality, encouraging people to shine like diamonds and be themselves, despite the pressures of society.
The first verse is a message to those who try to control someone else's life. The lyrics suggest that no one has the right to tell you what to do or judge you for your choices. The line "Is innocence the difference between a boy and a man?" highlights the idea that maturity comes not from blindly following others but from making your own decisions and being responsible for their consequences.
The second verse addresses the broken state of the world we live in. The lyrics urge people to come together and help each other, to make life better for everyone. The line "Looking for forgiveness, what's left to believe?" suggests that when things get tough, people may lose faith in themselves and others. The chorus acts as a reminder that despite the difficulties we face, we can still choose to live our lives on our own terms.
Overall, "Have A Nice Day" is a song about finding the strength to be yourself, without compromise. It's about standing up to the critics, the naysayers, and the doubters who would try to bring you down. It's an anthem for those who choose to live their lives on their own terms, regardless of the consequences.

Mama, can you hear me? Try to understand
Mom, can you listen and try to comprehend my perspective?

My daddy lived the lie, it's just the price that he paid
My father led a dishonest life, and this was the cost he had to bear.

He gave up his existence, just grinding out work.
Oh, if there's one thing I hang onto
That gets me through the night

Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly

When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
When everyone comes at me, I'm not afraid to say politely, 'Have a nice day.'
Take a look around you, look nothing's what it seems
We're living in the broken home of hopes and dreams
Take a glance at your surroundings, and you'll realize nothing is what it appears. We exist in a shattered abode of aspirations and desires.
Let me be the first to shake a helping hand
With anybody, pray enough to take a stand
I shall be the first to extend my hand to anyone who's prepared to rise up against injustice.
I've knocked on every door, on every dead end street
Looking for forgiveness
What's left to believe?
I've gone everywhere and talked to all kinds of people, seeking absolution. What other hope remains?
When the world keeps trying, to drag me down
I've gotta raise my hands, gonna stand my ground
I say, hey, have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
When everyone persists in trying to pull me apart, I'll still raise my hands to maintain my position. And I'll still wish you all a pleasant day.

@@Yoyomamusic007 Judging the entertainers righteously:
they are:
DECEIVERS
MTFs and FTMs
cowards
masons puppets
greedy
in love of all lies
demon possessed
members of one big club: FREEMASONRY
Analyse them, you`ll get same results.
And they all let us know, by placing the masonic hand signs and symbols into all music videos, movies, concerts, magazines, album covers…..
(As if judging is often unjust by many, so is free speech willed with nonsense , because of the lack of knowledge. 1st go and gain KNOWLEDGE, which you missing and then worry about you being allowed to judge and speak free or not. Take a listen around the world, many are just noise makers, having no knowledge about that they talk about, nobody truly listens them. These 2 verses describe perfectly many human souls situation:
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Job 34:35 Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.)
