The song, written by Swedish composer Kjell Jennstig, was submitted to Eirodziesma 2007 (the Latvian National Selection for Eurovision). As rules dictated, only Latvian artists could participate so Jennstig found 6 Latvian tenors to create the new group, Normunds Jakušonoks, Zigfrīds Muktupāvels, Kaspars Tīmanis, Andris Ābelīte, Andris Ērglis and Roberto Meloni. They went on to win Eirodziesma 2007 and competed at the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki where they finished 16th.
