Que juntos caminamos
Que juntos recorrimos
Pero no te encontré
He vuelto al boulevard
In Bonny Cepeda's song La Fotografia, the singer takes a trip down memory lane as he revisits the places where he used to go with his past lover, Yineth. The lyrics express the longing and nostalgia he feels towards their past relationship which ended abruptly. The song starts with the singer saying that he has gone back to the places where they once walked together but didn't find her. He then visits the boulevard, a small café, and finds an old man who sold flowers who he asks about Yineth's whereabouts. The lyrics then shift to a specific location, an old tree where they had their first kiss, and how they both wrote each other's names on the tree. The singer relives the moment and says that the sky was a witness to their love. As he reminisces about their past, he can't help but miss Yineth and wishes he can see her again.
In the second half of the song, the singer reveals that all he has left of her is a photograph which is a constant reminder of their beautiful romance. He says that he visits the places they used to go to, hoping to run into her, but unfortunately, he doesn't find her. He also mentions a hotel room where Yineth's innocence was lost, which confirms that their relationship was physical. The song's last verse repeats the memories of their romance at the park with children playing and birds soaring in the sky, emphasizing that he can't forget their beautiful past.
Overall, La Fotografia by Bonny Cepeda is a melancholic song about a past lover that feels like it's gone forever. The lyrics touch on the themes of nostalgia, longing, and regret, providing a glimpse into the singer's memories and emotions.
