SO WHAT
Boys World Lyrics

(Dwilly, I'm scared)

I've been undercover, lookin' for another
Actin' like you good but you never did recover
I don't got no baggies but you got a duffle
Alright, yeah, right

Shoulder always ready for your tears and petty
Petty shot-shots you were always aimin' at me
Now you got-got what you givin' out like candy
So sad, too bad that you want me

Yeah, you mad (mad)
And, yeah, that's fine (fine)
But that seems like that's your problem
It's not mine

Boy, I know you miss me, so what?
You love me but (so what?)
You're calling but (so what?)
You want me but (so what?)
I know how you're feeling, that's tough
You love me but (so what?)
You're calling but (so what-wha-wha-wha-what?)
Boy, I know you miss me, so what?
You love me but (so what?)
You're calling but (so what?)
You want me but (so what?)
I know how you're feeling, that's tough
You love me but (so what?)
You're calling but (so what-wha-wha-wha-what?)

(Bw)
I know you're hoping you'll bump into me in the streets (yeah, yeah, yeah)
You can dream it and then got on top of me in the sheets, nah
Keep your number, baby, I'm not trying to save it (ayy, oh)
End this conversation
All I hear is chirp, chirp, chirp on the backline
(Chirp, chirp, chirp)

She got the curves with the waistline (yeah)
She got that drum for the bassline (bassline, yeah)
You know I'm free, I'ma make time
She's got the chirp on the backline
She got the curves with the waistline (yeah, yeah, yeah)
She got that drum for the bassline
You know I'm free, I'ma make time

Yeah, you mad (mad)
And, yeah, that's fine (fine)
But that seems like that's your problem
It's not mine

Boy, I know you miss me, so what? (I know you miss me)
You love me but (so what?)
You're calling but (so what?) (So, so, so, so what?)
You want me but (so what?)
I know how you're feeling, that's tough
You love me but (so what?) (I know how you feel)
You're calling but (so what-wha-wha-wha-what?) (So what?)
Boy, I know you miss me, so what? (So what?)
You love me but (so what?) (So what?)
You're calling but (so what?) (So what?)
You want me but (so what?)
I know how you're feeling, that's tough
You love me but (so what?)
You're calling but (so what-wha-wha-wha-what?)
(So)

Boy, I know you miss me, but so what? (So what?)
Boy, I know you miss me, but, so what?
So what? (So what?) So what? (So what?)

I know that you miss me, but so what?
So what? So what? So what? So what?

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to "SO WHAT" by Boys World showcase a sense of empowerment and confidence in moving on from a toxic relationship. The song begins by expressing the singer's frustration with someone who has been deceitful and manipulative. The lyrics refer to the person as acting like they are good, but they haven't truly recovered from their wrongdoings. The use of the metaphor "I don't got no baggies but you got a duffle" suggests that the other person is carrying the burden of their actions.

The chorus of the song emphasizes the singer's indifference towards the person's attempts to get back in their life. The repetition of "so what" reflects a dismissive and nonchalant attitude towards the person's feelings. The lyrics convey a message of resilience and self-confidence, as the singer recognizes that the other person still has feelings for them, but they are choosing to prioritize their own happiness over rekindling the relationship.

The second verse further asserts the singer's independence and refusal to entertain any advances from the person. The lyrics mention the other person fantasizing about being intimate again, but the singer is determined to move on and not engage in that conversation. The lines "All I hear is chirp, chirp, chirp on the backline" suggest that the person's attempts at communication are seen as background noise, indicating that they are not being taken seriously.

Throughout the song, the lyrics convey a sense of empowerment and liberation from a toxic relationship. The repetition of the phrase "so what" signifies a dismissal of the other person's attempts to regain their attention and affection. The singer is confident in their decision to move forward and prioritize their own well-being. Overall, "SO WHAT" is an anthem for self-empowerment and letting go of unhealthy attachments.

@b w it's so bad. There's no promotion what so ever. What's the point of putting them on playlists and a few insta ads just for them to reach a small audience?

No talk show appearances, no stages, no performances, no radio shows(ones that actually have good reach and audiences) NOTHING. Nothing good at all. It's so sad.

There's so much instagram story clips oc songs but...I'm pretty darn sure over half of the songs there recorded haven't even been released yet. It's sad.

An example of good or ok promotion is FLO. Apple music, Jimmy Fallon, radio shows, Instagram creators feature....

Lots of things. But they have a huge label so thats different.

It's really hard to keep my heads up for them as a fan, I can't imagine how they're feeling. Some of them stopped their future plans like college for this.

I will keep believing in them meanwhile, and the company should have been prepared with way more money and connections before they made a girl group. Waiting for them to blow up on tiktok won't always work out.

Stars are trying their best meanwhile. So what is their most successful release yet, almost triple of girlfriends. Let's keep going.
