Brandon has served as a Worship Leader at Hope Christian Church (Bishop Harry R. Jackson) for four years and which allowed him to minister alongside artists such as Darwin Hobbs, Alvin Slaughter, Ron Kenoly, and many others. He graduated number 8 in his class, along with Joshua, Fred, & Angela from Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC. On December 30, 2007 with OneWay at his side, Brandon started, The Encounter in Beltsville, MD. The Encounter is a night for young adults of all cultures and backgrounds to be inspired, equipped, and influenced through corporate worship and by the Word of God to make a difference in their generation. To date, The Encounter has impacted over 600 lives monthly in the DMV area and is continuing to affect and influence the culture. It's a night like no other to experience complete freedom in the presence of God through incredible, intense, and intimate worship. It's more than an event, it's a movement for the kingdom of God.
Bringing individuality and creativity to the table, OneWay has united to offer an alternative sound for their generation. Along with the Encounter, OneWay has had many opportunities to take part in monumental events in the area including the annual July 4th Christ On the Mall Celebration in Washington, DC, the annual Acts CafΓ© @ OSU with Kierra Sheard & Jason Nelson., and also recently Saints at Six Flags
They recently released their first single, Itβs Possible (Gotta Have Faith) and are setting to release their debut full-length album early 2009. Making their mark and giving good reason to be heard, I present to you: Brandon Camphor & OneWay.
One Way

We're not going far
Still got to walk
'cause we're not the stars
Passing on, taking life in our stride
Same thing everywhere
At least we tried
Pushed to the edge
An inch is an inch
And a bit more length
we're on a one way system to nowhere
One way system we don't care
One way system to nowhere
We're going off the edge of the world
we're all going somewhere
We're all going far
Don't have to walk
'cause we've got our car
Drivin' and taking life in our stride
Same thing everywhere
But we've tried
Pushed to the edge
By an unknown strength
An inch is an inch
And a bit more length
We ain't going nowhere
We are not making any progress in life
We're not going far
Our ambitions are not leading us to great achievements
Still got to walk
We still have to put in the effort to move forward
'cause we're not the stars
We are not famous or extraordinary individuals
Passing on, taking life in our stride
Continuing with our journey, accepting life's challenges
Same thing everywhere
Facing similar situations wherever we go
At least we tried
Despite the difficulties, we made an effort
Pushed to the edge
Being pushed to our limits
By an unknown strength
Motivated by an unidentifiable force
An inch is an inch
Small progress is still progress
And a bit more length
And with just a little extra effort
We're on a one-way system to nowhere
We are stuck in a directionless path
One-way system we don't care
We are indifferent to being trapped in this direction
One-way system to nowhere
A constant journey without a destination
We're going off the edge of the world
We are taking risks and venturing into the unknown
We're all going somewhere
Each of us has a destination in life
We're all going far
We have the potential to achieve greatness
Don't have to walk
We don't necessarily have to put in physical effort
'cause we've got our car
Because we have the means to reach our goals easily
Drivin' and taking life in our stride
Moving forward smoothly and confidently in life
But we've tried
However, we have made sincere efforts

If God wasnt merciful the whole world Christians and non Christians would suffer. Mercy provokes God to act in every life, and sovereignly work in every life. Its beautiful for God to call everyone to Him and hate sin but not the sinner.

I heard this on the radio yesterday and loved it. I used to sing on the praise and worship team and yesterday I felt so completely disconnected, lost and very sad. I have honestly lost faith in so much. Not one soul to talk to when you want to talk...that's a lonely life to live. Thank you for this song its beautiful.ππΎππΎ
