Karma
Brandyn Burnette Lyrics

Spinning till the wheels fall off
And I'm comatose, her eyes are closed
Heavy is the heart that's fire
If I look away we'll be drifting life to day
Oh oh oh, and if I could change
If I could feel the love that we embrace
So be careful what you say & what you do
Don't tell me that I did not warn you
It's Karma back at you
It's Karma back to you
Where do I go? So many roads,
Spinning till my head falls off
We're set to?? the curtains close
I'm trying starting over all these
If I look away we'll be drifting life to day
Oh oh oh, and if I could change
If I could feel the love that we embrace
Said it will always get you back on it
So be careful what you say & what you do
Don't tell me that I did not warn you
It's Karma back at you
It's Karma back to you
(What goes around, must come back some time)
The lyrics to "Karma" by Brandyn Burnette reflect the struggle of trying to find one's place in life and making choices that may have negative consequences in the future. Burnette is lost and "off the road," spinning until the wheels fall off, feeling comatose with his partner's closed eyes. He recognizes the weight of the heart on fire and the consequences of his actions. If he looks away, life will pass him by, and he will continue to drift. There's a sense of regret and a desire to change his situation and feel the love that they had embraced.
The chorus warns that Karma will always get you back, and one should be careful about what they say and do. Burnette acknowledges that he has warned someone, and now Karma is back at them. The final line, "What goes around, must come back some time," emphasizes the theme of Karma and the idea that one's actions have consequences.
Overall, "Karma" is a song with a powerful message about the importance of making positive choices, accepting the consequences of one's actions, and living a life free of regrets.
