“Walk with Me”, Brianna’s five-song EP, was released in August, 2012 and sold 500 copies in less than two months. The music video for her single “Reflection” is quickly circulating the globe on YouTube. In fact, it was even watched on the International Space Station! This EP is a reflection of Brianna’s journey - growing and maturing as a Christian teen. The listener will walk the path with Brianna as she reveals the answer to overcoming her sin-nature and that overwhelming need to just fit in and be accepted. She discovers who she is and boldly proclaims it to the world, crying out to the lost and lonely to discover what Christ has for them as well. She empowers and emboldens her listeners to stand strong when life seems so heavy.
Brianna also plays an integral role in Get REAL inC, a girls mentoring organization, serving as the face and main speaker for the thriving non-profit and is also on the National Board of Directors – working to empower others to make a difference in the lives of teen girls world-wide. “Get REAL inC’s motto is: ‘It is easier to build a strong girl than to repair a broken woman,’ shares Brianna. I’m a product of this organization. I want to help other girls be strong in Christ, so they won’t be broken by the world - and help heal the wounds of those who have.”
Reflection
Brianna Caprice Lyrics

Staring back at you?
Although the shadows cover its flaws
Don't you realize that it's you?
Looking at yourself
Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who's the loveliest of them all?
To my knees
On my knees
It's not me
I'm not me
Bruised and battered on the floor
Laying cold and shaking
I wish I wouldn't have tried so hard
To be something I wasn't
Meant to be
Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who's the loveliest of them all?
Will I rise or will I fall?
To my knees
On my knees
It's not me
I'm not me
Bridge
The princess from the fairy tale books
Was created to build this life on looks
She had all she wanted and even more
Help me escape, get out of this world
Save me Lord
Last Mirror, mirror on the wall
Now shattered to pieces
Scattered on the floor
You showed me what
you wanted me to see
It's not me
I know me
Mirror, mirror on the wall
I know loveliest of them all
So, He will rise and I will fall
To my knees
On my knees
It's Him I see
Now that's me
Who I was meant to be
The song Reflection by Brianna Caprice is a powerful commentary on the struggle of identity in a culture that values looks over substance. The song uses the metaphor of a mirror to illustrate this struggle as the singer looks into the mirror and sees a face covered in shadows that she doesn't recognize. The shadows represent the flaws that society judges us for and the pressure that we feel to live up to a certain standard. The singer asks the mirror if she will rise or fall and realizes that the image she sees is not who she really is.
The bridge of the song refers to the princess from fairy tale books who was created to build her life on looks. This is a powerful commentary on the way that our culture values looks over substance and the pressure that people feel to be perfect. The singer asks for help to escape this world and to be saved by the Lord.

Hey Kaelyn Halter! It's awesome that you were at the Bishops Rally! It was such an awesome day!
I am sorry that that's what you take away from this video. That was definitely not my intention in the making.. I wanted to have a visual representation of what I used to do in different friend groups. Who I was personality wise, clothes wise, actions wise would all change depending on who I was with, and that's what I believed would make me loved and accepted. When in truth, Christ should be the only one defining me. I am loved (by God).. I am accepted (by God). And I had lost site of my true identity so I just put on everyone else's to find those two things I craved.
What might surprise you is that all of the people in this music video are actually some great friends.. but what's different about our friendship now is that I don't have to dress like them to be loved or accepted. (also notice that I dressed like the girly girl and the tom boy not just the emo or goth) My style has become my own and my friends have finally met the REAL Brianna through my naturally goofy personality.
Kaelyn, I would never judge somebody by their appearance because I know that there's a heart underneath that tells a totally different story than the clothes their wearing.
Christ is now the only one who defines ME.. and I want to reflect Him well. This video is just to share that and encourage others to reflect him too!
God bless,
Brianna Caprice
