Brooke Waggoner has now released three albums independently, with all music being fully written, orchestrated and arranged by her. Brooke's debut release was an EP titled Fresh Pair of Eyes (2007) called "one of the most exciting releases to come out of America in 2007" by the London Sunday Times. After touring nationally thru the spring of 2008, she released her second album, Heal for the Honey, in the fall of that year. The album debuted at #1 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts and Brooke continued touring nationally with such artists as Copeland, Bell X1, Owen, Paper Route, and Unwed Sailor among others. The album took the #1 slot on Patrol Magazine's "Best Faith-Inspired Albums of 2008". In 2009, Brooke took on the role of producer for her third album, Go Easy Little Doves. The album was released in the fall of 2009 and also debuted at #1 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts. Brooke spent that fall and the spring of 2010 on tour with such artists as Owl City, Rocky Votolato, and Denison Witmer.
Brooke was nominated for an Independent Music Award for "Best Folk/Singer-Songwriter Album" in 2009. Also in the fall of 2009, Brooke won the Nashville Music Award for "NBN Emerging Artist" of the year.
Brooke Waggoner has also been a part of the long running and award winning radio show NPR's Mountain Stage, appearing multiple times with acts such as The Hold Steady, Jerry Douglas, Crooked Sill, and many others.
Her music has appeared on numerous TV shows such as: ABC Family's Greek, Kyle XY, & Pretty Little Liars as well as CBS's Ghost Whisperer, ABC's Grey's Anatomy, and Lifetime's Army Wives.
Waggoner released her first DVD, entitled And the World Opened Up, in the fall of 2010.[4] It contains a live performance recorded at Nashville's Art House America in late 2009. Waggoner's music from "Go Easy Little Doves" is presented for the first time with a complete live orchestra. The DVD also features biographical interviews with Waggoner, footage of her musical development, and animated sections. Production is credited to Charlie Peacock.

The status-quo stucco looked like the Alamo
Neighbor Jethro brought by his fresco
Lo and behold he showed where good neighbors abode
He offered tobacco to which I vetoed
I said I only smoke alone separate and solo
He wanted to know how I liked Del Rio
And I replied...
Chorus:
Oh, why here it's so-so
But it is no, no Colorado
I miss my home and the cocoa
I wanna go home...
He helped me unload my piano
And then I played him oh a favorite concerto
He yelled profundo while I played allegro
And then he tip-tap-toed through my accelerandos
Gave him a banjo and said "strum what you know"
Then I pretended I was Dinos my old maestro
He kept in tempo and I said bravo
He picked the dearest notes that gave me thoughts of sweet hope
Oh....
Chorus
After the song show I offered jam & toast
He said he'd forego and he left to tend his young goats
So I unpacked soap, found my bathrobe
And decided it'd be nice to sit and soak
On the backbone of the commode
I placed a family photo then let out a sad moan
Then a new groan of hunger followed,
And I bought two tacos and an H20 to go
Yeh there is no place no, no place quite like your home
Yeh there's no place no, no place quite like your home
Chorus.
The lyrics to Brooke Waggoner's song So-So seem to be about a move to a new place that is not quite living up to expectations. After buying an old home in Del Rio, the singer seems underwhelmed by the status-quo stucco that resembles the Alamo. A neighbor named Jethro comes over and offers tobacco, but the singer declines, saying they only smoke alone. Jethro inquires about how the singer likes Del Rio, asking if the lack of snow makes it perfect. The singer responds with the chorus, stating that it's just so-so and not quite like home in Colorado, where they miss their home and cocoa and want to go back.
The interaction with Jethro continues as he helps the singer unload their piano, and the singer plays a favorite concerto for him. Jethro yells profundo as the singer plays allegro and tip-tap-toes through accelerandos. The singer gives Jethro a banjo and pretends to be their old maestro, Dinos, and Jethro keeps in tempo and receives a bravo. After the song show, the singer offers Jethro jam and toast, but he declines, choosing instead to tend to his young goats. The singer unpacks soap, finds their bathrobe, and decides to sit and soak. They place a family photo on the backbone of the commode, let out a sad moan, and then a new groan of hunger. They buy two tacos and H20 to go and realize there's no place quite like home.

It's crazy how well written it is. It's one rhyme scheme the entire song. Long o's are everywhere, yet it tells a story that makes sense.
It's so catchy on top of that.
