I feel like being vulnerable is what's going to make me a legend, someone to be remembered for my struggles and my eventual success.

Even though I feel like I'm near death, I manage to keep going and living my life to the fullest.

No instructions when I was handed this device
I was given no instructions or guide on how to navigate life when I started out on this journey.

I need to go and hide away somewhere far from everything to gather my thoughts and figure out where I need to go from here.

Can you recall a time people loved you unconditionally?
Do you remember a time when someone loved you without any conditions or expectations? A time when you were truly appreciated for just being yourself?

Called the same people and it's yo you just missed them be
I tried to reach out to the same people who loved me unconditionally, but they were no longer there for me. I had missed my chance.

Then they start to question whether you a true talent
People start to question your talent and whether you really have what it takes to make it.

So then you hide away just to try to find your way
You end up hiding away to try and figure out who you truly are and where you need to go.

I want all y'all to know, good or bad I'll remember it
No matter what happens, I will always remember the people who were there for me, whether it was good or bad.

Nothing could atone for the pain you've endured
No amount of compensation or apology could make up for the pain and suffering that you have gone through.

Only to discover that your savior's manure
You realize that the person you thought was going to save you, turned out to be a disappointment or a fraud.

Accepted me as kin, put before your younger brother
You accepted me as your family and put me before your own younger brother, even though we hardly knew each other at first.

It hauls me with regret I never met your baby girl
I regret that I never had the chance to meet your daughter, who I believe would have become someone important in both of our lives.
