Their fondness of the Byrds, the Jesus and Mary Chain, the Beach Boys, and the Monkees comes across on such songs as Caroline's Radio, Famous Blue Anorak, Surfin' USB, She brings The Sunshine, and Falling In Love With A Sad Song.

They have, so far, released three CD albums; Doubleplusgood (November 2008), Sophomore Release (November 2010) and Some Like It Pop (November 2013).
