He experienced disappointment and hurt after searching for his father and finding out that his father did not care for him

I prayed to The Lord, bring him back if he could live normal

Turns out his condition was awful, it must have been fate
Dane's medical condition was severe and might have been inevitable

As he gets older, he understands that life is precious and shouldn't be taken for granted
