in addition, Bulldog + Sniper Scope + Silencer + Standard Magazine + "stock lvl 2" and you basically have the best sniper in the game in your hands, reliable, accurate and stealthy

I run this as my primary every playthrough, functions well at any range with the right sight and is almost always a 1shot with the right placement

The bulldog is also way better at conserving ammo on longer trips with its lower rate of fire

I really love the LMG(?) RPK-74(?) version of the Kalash (75-round drum, heavy stock, standard (or long) barrel and reflex sight).
Paired with the Shambler (long barrel, heavy stock, closed reflex sight and "box magazine" (or stick mag, for faster reloads), its a devastating loadout, both against other humans or mutants

The kalash's only advantage is it has a huge clip magazine upgrade. Besides that the bulldog is better in every other way

@@IcedCoffeeGaming no I didn't even know that upgrade existed until my new game plus run. I always dump the kalash for the bulldog immediately. Also I dump the ashot for the shambler immediately. I think if you wanted to spray and prey the kalash extra large magazine would be useful. But that isn't the best approach. For the shambler I keep the 10 round clip even after unlocking the 20 round box because of that horrible box reload.
Also I feel the developers had to give the kalash 1 niche so it wasn't 100% worse than the bulldog. The ashot and it's quad barrels do make it more competitive to the shambler.
In the previous games the kalash 2012 was a 100% upgrade and I think the developers didn't like that idea.

@@IcedCoffeeGaming have you ever played alien isolation? You could do weapon reviews on the 4 primary weapons and possibly the tools in that game and review the stats (like how many hits does it take to kill humans and androids with said weapons.)

Rate of fire is quite better for the Kalash (specially with Short (AKS-74U) or standard barrel)
For long range tough, the Bulldog is a better coice
