9s are not my favourite but they can stay for now.
No complaints about the Ceramic pickups.
Once I’ve done the nut, intonation (and maybe a little fret levelling) this is going to be able to hold it’s head up with my Fender and my Variax in the S-Type department.

A couple of hours fettling and it’s pretty much sorted.
I filed the fret ends so now there are no catchy ends.
They weren’t horrible before but they’re all smooth now.
I ‘eased’ the nut slots and applied Nut Sauce …
Neck was a hair over straight so I slackened the truss rod.
Intonation is done now, was Waay off..
She’s sounding great.
And what a bargain !!
I can get the frets done on my Fender Strat now (96 MIJ), and if it takes time then no worries. 🧙♂

1 last thing. I am worlds best guitarist. I quit playing 25 years ago. Then i played only 3 years 8 hour days. We dont have that kind of time. Time is money u have 2have millions2 afford 2not work but ONLY PLAY 5 years minimum 2get good.

I see $199 - $250 US price. It looks like a pretty good deal. Who is Cort? Mr. Internet says:
"Cort Guitars is a South Korean guitar manufacturing company located in Seoul. The company is one of the largest guitar makers in the world, and produces instruments for many other companies. It also has factories in Indonesia and China." - So, it's not some fly by night knockoff company.
You made the Cort sound good. This video was done in shorts and short sleeves. Well in 5 or 6 months, you can break out the shorts and short sleeves again. (Come tho think of it. I can learn a lot of guitar stuff in that amount of time.) Happy New Year!

Wow wow wow!!! Impressed as always by your way of playing ... In this case I love the design and the colors of the guitar... I use a Pacifica 112V and a Fender (not squier)... Among others... But this design pleases me it caught my attention (I liked it a lot), however I imagined that it was worse than bad due to its low price... I had the opportunity to try it in the store in front of my apartment, and it is comfortable to play, and, although it is not I liked the pickups, they're not too bad and they can also be changed... But I find it beautiful and above all comfortable... I didn't know you had made a video of this guitar, which makes me happy, and it impresses me how you play so many sounds from such a cheap guitar... the truth is that you are too good at playing and it shows that you have a natural talent (maybe even a broomstick with wires will add magic)... Anyway, thanks to this video I want to buy this guitar as a combat instrument, and obviously I will change the pickups, (although what they advise is not to invest improvements in cheap guitars). But this is different since I really love its slim and elegant design... Cort in general is the best quality/price alternative. Greetings as always from Chile (to the south of this world)

Cort, the strategic partner for PRS in the SE line, with Ola Strandberg on his guitars and likely many more. I reckon they should never be under-estimated as maker. The challenge is that their own brand is unknown. I love satin or open pore guitars more then most, so this is killer product. I actually just scored a Boxing Day deal on an Mustard Yellow (my take on the colour) Cort Sunset TC, a "hybrid" between Tele and Les style Single Cut. It was priced to move because folks don't know what they are. Looking forward to try it.

Thank you Elmo, with this video you really contributed to persuade me. I was looking for a spare "strato style" guitar, and Cort G series were in my viewfinder. So when I notice the G110 in my local store (that exact cherry one!) I made my decision. Now I own it, and I'm happy. Also thank you for all your youtube stuff, very cool job, I like your approach. My acoustic guitar is a Cort CEC5 NAT. Cort is a really good brand. High quality guitars at good prices. Although my next guitar purchase will likely be a BMG Special, when I'm well-off enough to justify it.
