It's my personal least favorite, I like the simplicity of splatoon one putting it as my number one, it's honestly quite perfect as is imo, and 2's now or never feels closer to the first one, I just don't like the vibe of this version. It no longer resembles the other versions enough for me to like it, even the splatfest version of 3's doesn't get this wrong and for the other two games I like the splatfest version less
