Brooklyn New York had the best block parties in the summer. This song was one of the party anthems. We Got Our Own Thing. I miss those days in the 70s. 🥂 🥂 I would like to give a shout out to all of the amazing DJ 's in NYC R.I.P DJ Lance known as Master D. His Legacy is very important for the culture in Bed Stuy.

I was a young DJ back then (started in '73) & I remember playing these Disco Classics when new. I still have a lot of my 12"s and LP's....the best ones that is...!! I am now 67 and I haven't stopped dancin' yet.....just a little slower, and for not as long a time!
