Justice
C.O.S. Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

LET'S RAISE HELL
The self righteous simple minded sheep who see themselves as gods
Who see themselves as gods
Lacking the self accountability to address the cause
I say
Never listen to them
Never give a fuck what anybody says
They'll leave you dead down inside of the dirt
Then ask for their amends
They don't think
About their actions
They don't know
Of what's to come
Justice will be
Served
Justice will be
Served
This is a dish that's best served cold
Where is your savior
Where is your god
Let's watch it crumble
Burn to the ground
We know that the world's collapsing
As the walls around us fall
The one thing you should be asking
What is the end result
Of the actions
That proceed to follow
All this nonsense and
All of these pointless games
Tell me why
Tell me why
Tell me why
Why should we even listen to you
Tell me why
Tell me why
Tell me why
Do you know what we've been through
NOOO
Never listen to them
Never give a fuck what anybody says
They'll leave you dead down inside of the dirt
Then ask for their amends
They don't think
About their actions
They don't know
Of what's to come
Justice will be
Served
Justice will be
Served
This is a dish that's best served cold
Where is your savior
Where is your god
Let's watch it crumble
As it burn to the ground
Tell me why we should listen
Tell me why we should listen to you
Tell me what's really missing
Tell me why
It's all a fallacy

Holy Fuck
It's all a fallacy

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of C.O.S.'s song "Justice" criticize those who consider themselves superior and fail to take responsibility for their actions. The song highlights the hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness in individuals who believe they are gods, yet refuse to address the root cause of problems. The lyrics urge listeners to disregard such self-righteous individuals and not be influenced by their words. The song emphasizes that these individuals will eventually face the consequences of their actions, as justice will ultimately be served.

The lyrics also question the presence and efficacy of a higher power or a savior. The line "Where is your savior, where is your god" suggests a call for accountability and a lack of faith in those who claim to have the answers. The song further explores the crumbling state of the world and challenges the listener to question the outcome of these destructive actions and pointless games.

Ultimately, the lyrics convey a sense of disillusionment and frustration with the current state of affairs, questioning the legitimacy of those in power and encouraging listeners to seek their own truth rather than relying on empty promises.

Thanks for making videos that help to explain such issues in simple ways that don't blindly pain one side as right or wrong or good or evil. Thank you for understanding how complicated life is, and that painting one side as the bad guy would only create more division in our world. Thank you sooooo much

Half right isn't good enough in this case.

Yeah, social justice is different from different perspectives, but that's where democracy comes in.

I hope you never stop lobbying for personal freedoms and property rights.

But I noticed over my life that people who are bloated with wealth as compared to others don't lobby for personal freedoms. Instead they lobby for their own control over others lives, there by securing their own advantages. And often "social justice" is simply the fashionable opposition to such transparent tyranny.... As a result of gamesmanship the strategy for tyrants changes and then the strategies for pursuing social justice change.

There should be no word in front of Justice. The moment that happens it becomes a weasel phrase.

Alex Carlson

Justice always stands alone, it's either loved and adored or hated with the most possible contempt.

I always wondered why it was social justice and not just justice.

@JJ Rodzilla I honestly don’t believe this to be an issue of left or right...

Hugo Hoffmansthal

@JJ Rodzilla I’d like to see you come up with a definition of justice that works without normative component as qualifier.

Social justice, for when real justice doesn't give you the results you want.

I contend that “social justice” is what the nazis exactly did for nazi Germany.
