Bio (in hungarian):
A zenekar 1998-ban alakult Bence és Gergő duójaként. Az első években nem változott az alapfelállás, a koncerteken vendég zenészekkel álltak színpadra. Az 1999-ben megrendezett Sziget Fesztiválon a mai tagok mellett - vendégzenészként - már megjelent, az akkor még a média munkáiban elvesző, valamint zenei szólópályáját építgető András, aki 2002-ben vált a CH.I.P tagjává.

1999. Bence a Warpigs – Monte Carlo című dalában, és a Quartz album számos track-jén énekelt vendégként.
“Go Ahead! Don’t You Stop!”

2000. A zenekar első rögzített dalai közül, a Sufferchild felkerült, a hazai reménységeket felvonultató (Yonderboi, Marcel) Budapest 2000 című válogatásalbumra. A dalhoz, az időközben számos nemzetközi díjjal kitüntetett fiatal filmrendező, Antal Nimród forgatott egy remek dokumentarista videót, amely két – a CH.I.P alapítói által megtestesített - mentőorvos egyetlen áldozatkész munkanapját mutatja be. A hazai zenetévék a videó egyes jeleneteire hivatkozva nem játszották azt, az eredeti verzió a 2002-es Titanic Filmfesztiválon mutatkozhatott meg széles vásznon a rendező legsikeresebb munkái között.

2001. Bence és András megjárva a hazai koncert színpadok többségét, a FreshFabrik tiszteletbeli tagjaként koncertezik, amely csapattal Prágában 35.000 ember előtt, az egyik legnagyobb rockszínpadon is helyt áll az ausztrál rocklegenda, az AC/DC egyik előzenekaraként.

2002. A trió - a könnyűzene elmúlt évtizedei által erősen inspirált - tagjai egy újszerű és előremutató lemez elkészítésében állapodtak meg. Az csapat az indie, az elektro, a drum'n'bass és a triphop hatásokat egyaránt felvonultató dalait másfél éven át alakítgatta az élő fellépésein, mielőtt stúdióba vonult volna. A fellépéseken VicLAz koncert-hangmérnök, és a vizuális tartalmakért felelős Vadon Zolcsi kísérte őket

2003. A CH.I.P újraértelmezhette a DM - Personal Jesus című számát, amely "A Tribute To Depeche Mode - Thank U Too" címmel megjelent, hazai előadók által készített a feldolgozásokat vonultat fel. Egy újabb daluk - Solitaire - kerül gyűjteményes lemezre, ezúttal a Sziget Fesztivál által kiadott “Placcc! című albumra.

2004. A stúdiómunkák lezárulnak, Challenger in Pieces címmel elkészül a CH.I.P zenekar első önálló albuma. A zenekar eddigi megjelenései biztató és túlnyomóan pozitív kritikákat kaptak. A CH.I.P ennek okán, továbbá az egyedi hangzás és látvány reményében koncerteken két vendégzenésszel kiegészülve készül élőben is bemutatni lemezanyagát.

2005. A CLS Records állomás és a CH.I.P legénysége a valós és virtuális térbe lövi első albumát.

Overall Meaning

In CH.I.P.’s song “Hunger,” the singer is expressing their intense longing for someone who cannot reciprocate their feelings.
