All You All Day
Camera Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

And me myself thought never it'th
Beneath my head
To follow my hands and favour
Mine over theirs

Steal all you can motherfucker
Steal all you can
No day like this big brother
Steal all you can

Thine love was fields of poppies
Blessed are the dead
Stealing kisses became the objective
Love became theft

Steal all you can motherfucker
Steal all you can
No love like this big brother
No love like theft

Paid for by education
Idle minds attentive to the lessons
We don't need facts we wish to
kill big business dead

Steal all you can motherfucker
Steal all you can
No faith like this big brother
Big sister's dead

The waste of education
pollutes my head
There's gonna be a world war
Bread stealers win

So steal all you can motherfuck
Steal all you can

No virtue as this motherfucker
The bread eater will

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of "All You All Day" by Camera delve into themes of rebellion, individualism, love, education, and socio-political commentary. The opening lines express a sense of self-awareness and self-reflection, with the singer acknowledging that it was never in their nature to blindly follow the crowd ("And me myself thought never it'th | Beneath my head | To follow my hands and favour | Mine over theirs"). The lyrics emphasize the importance of staying true to oneself and not succumbing to external pressures or influences.

The recurring chorus of "Steal all you can motherfucker" serves as a bold declaration of defiance and empowerment. It encourages seizing opportunities and taking what is rightfully yours without hesitation. The aggressive tone of the lyrics conveys a sense of urgency and a desire to break free from societal constraints and norms. The mention of "big brother" alludes to a sense of surveillance or control, further emphasizing the theme of rebellion and resistance against oppressive forces.

The lyrics shift towards a reflection on love and its complexities, with references to fields of poppies and stolen kisses. The idea of love turning into theft signifies a deeper exploration of relationships and the blurred lines between passion and possessiveness. The lyrics suggest that love can be both intoxicating and destructive, highlighting the darker aspects of human emotions and desires.

As the song progresses, it delves into critiques of education and the power dynamics within society. The lines "Paid for by education | Idle minds attentive to the lessons | We don't need facts we wish to | kill big business dead" point towards a disillusionment with the education system and its failure to encourage critical thinking or challenge established institutions. The lyrics call for action against corporate greed and highlight the need for individuals to question authority and demand societal change.

In the final verses, the lyrics take a darker turn, with references to a looming world war and the victory of "bread stealers." This imagery symbolizes a chaotic and destructive future, where those who take without regard for others will triumph. The repetition of "steal all you can" in this context conveys a sense of desperation and survival, as well as a bleak outlook on the state of humanity. Overall, the song's lyrics offer a multifaceted exploration of rebellion, love, education, and societal decay, inviting listeners to reflect on larger existential questions and the complexities of human existence.

Great video! I love finding uses for stuff that I have lying around. I took an old "tactical" H-harness and "battle belt", and combined them to make my gaffer/hiking harness. Then I braided together some paracord to make short little tethers to lock onto the shoulder rings on the h-harness, attached some anchors, and voila! No more weight on the back of my neck. It looks goofy, but with one pouch on the belt filled with all the random tools I might need, one or two lenses attached to rig, and even a water bladder carrier on the back that if I end up not carrying water that day I can use to carry a folded up tripod, I can handle looking a bit goofy.

As someone who is wanting to invest in this type of equipment in the near future after owning a canon 5d Mark III for the the last 7 years. I wanted to ask a question about the rig you've set up, the zooming looks awesome. With the autofocus the fx3 has and the zooming with the motor, does it still keep the subject in focus whilst zooming? Regards! Great video! Subscribed!
