Su acercamiento a la música ocurrió a temprana edad, cuando a los 10 años aprendía la batería en un mini set . Así de a poco fue conociendo la guitarra el bajo, los teclados y el canto.
Su inicio en los escenarios fue en diversos festivales escolares -donde destaca el festival Alcántara el cual ganó en reiteradas ocasiones. Actualmente -además de su experimento solista- toca la batería en la banda de tendencia blusera, folkrock y rockabilly Los Enfervorescentes (2008) iniciativa de su hermano Alejandro.
La diversidad de las influencias de Camilo recogen elementos tanto de antecedentes locales del Rock chileno (Los Tres, Joe Vasconcellos, Flor Motuda, Los Jaivas, CHC, Pedro Piedra, entre otros) como del otro lado de la cordillera (Almendra, Pescado Rabioso, Luis Alberto Spinetta y Sui Generis); paseándose por el continente (Os mutantes, The Beach boys, Animal Collective) y atravesando océanos ( The Beatles, David Bowie, y Stereolab).
