Feel Your Pulse
Camo & Krooked Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

We generate a magnetic field
Stronger than the gravitational field on your Earth.
This is the principle by which we move through space.
We have adjusted the magnetic field to compensate
For the normal loss of gravitational effect and atmospheric pressure.
But your watch hasn′t stopped.
Feel your pulse.

Overall Meaning

The opening lines of Camo & Krooked's song "Feel Your Pulse" introduce a concept of scientific importance, i.e., the generation of a magnetic field that is more powerful than the gravitational force of the Earth. The lyrics hint at the ability of the subject to maneuver through space using a magnetic field that has adjusted to compensate for the normal loss of gravitational effect and atmospheric pressure. Thus, the person or entity in question has acquired an advanced ability to conquer the rules of physics and navigate through the universe. The reference to a watch that hasn't stopped is enigmatic, indicating that time has become irrelevant to the subject of the song. The final line, "Feel your pulse," could be interpreted as a message for the listener to become aware of their own life force amidst the vastness of the universe.

The lyrics of "Feel Your Pulse" are intriguing and thought-provoking, generating questions about the identity and abilities of the subject. Perhaps it is an extraterrestrial being or a human with extraordinary powers. Whatever the case, the song invites us to contemplate the possibilities of our own existence and the mysteries of the universe, and to connect with our own vitality.

You're right that these guys don't need any help in the quality department. Mind Vortex did my favorite DNB song ever, their remix of Don Diablo's "Silent Shadows," and both "Generator" and this song are awesome as well. While I grant that they have every right to steal from themselves, I would have loved to see what they could have done had they taken "Pulse" in a direction that was new for both C&K and for themselves.
