1. Camp… Read Full Bio ↴There are at least four groups and one musician called Camp.
1. Camp is a Swedish disco/house group that released the single 'Who Loves You?' in 2006.
2. Camp are three Zurich boys to keep an eye on in the future. Referring to themselves as 'smalltown neurotics,' their motivation for making music is summed up by Woody Allen’s one-liner: 'Failing in life can be dangerous; failing in art is simply embarrassing.' Within one year, Camp release 'Talking Cure,' the follow-up to their debut album. The band prove that there is more to them than writing straight dance floor hits. The three rock musicians, every one of them knowledgeable about the more modern history of pop music, have found a multi-layered sonic language, the speed, style, beauty, and mood swings of which never fail to surprise and move the listener. On stage, the main purpose of Camp’s melting of traditional rock instrumentation and electronics is still to make girls dance.
3. David Turgeon is an obfuscation composer, strategist of sonic vagueness, and sometimes even a performer (Camp, Ensemble Camp, Asyncdrone, Period Three, L’Île de béton…), David Turgeon is also founder and director of the No Type label. He is also known as a graphic designer, DJ, inventor of arcane programming languages and the author of two graphic novels.
4. Camp was a grindcore band from the Netherlands mainly influenced by bands such as Terrorizer and Brutal Truth. In 2001, they released their first 7" split with Intumescence. In 2003, a second 7" was recorded, but it was never released due to a split-up in 2004.
5. camp was a three-member Japanese country band.

With pointed teeth
What once was beautiful
Has turned bitter and cheap
So now there´s nothing I can do for you
But leave your roses out to die
I misbehaved
In your way like an elephant
Gentle smiling
With pointed teeth
Now there´s a war between
My high hopes and me
So this is how you put an end to things
By cutting throats with a smile
I misbehaved
I´m in your way
In you're way like an elephant
But in the corner of my mind
A little angel saying
"Don´t waste you're love,
You love too much"
The song Elephant by Camp is about a relationship that has turned sour. The first verse talks about catching the other person smiling with pointed teeth, which is a metaphor for them showing their true, harsh nature. The beauty that once existed between the two people has now turned bitter and cheap, indicating that the love has disappeared. The singer has no choice but to leave and let the roses the other person gave them die, signifying the end of the relationship.
The second verse talks about how the singer misbehaved and is now seen as an obstacle in the other person's way, like an elephant. However, the other person is not truly gentle, as they also have pointed teeth and are willing to cut throats with a smile. There is a war between the singer's high hopes and their current reality, which can only lead to an ending of things.
Despite all this, there is a little angel in the corner of the singer's mind, telling them not to waste their love and that they love too much. This can be interpreted as a guiding voice, telling the singer to move on and not invest in something that has turned so bitter.
