1. Caravan is a British progressive rock band from Canterbury, United Kingdom, founded by former Wilde Flowers members David Sinclair, Richard Sinclair, Pye Hastings, and Richard Coughlan. Caravan rose to success over a period of several years from 1968 onwards into the 1970s as part of the Canterbury scene which also included Soft Machine. Caravan still continue a part-time gigging existence into the present.
The band were largely dormant in the 1980s, but a 1990 reunion, planned as a one-off for U.K. television's Bedrock show, restarted their career. Latterly they have also achieved steady sales and a fan following with the support of the more eclectic corners of radio, like BBC Six Music's Freak Zone and the growing re-emergence of progressive rock.

2. Caravan is a Thai "folk-rock" band from the 1970s. They are the progenitors of the เพลงเพื่อชีวิต (pleng puea chiwit) or "songs for life" genre. Their music is loosely adapted folk-rock rhythms and melodies from American & British protest songs of the time and interlaced them with Thai folk idioms and instrumentation.
The band was founded in the early 1970s by student protest leaders surachai chanthimathon & wirasak sunthonsi. Their tunes & lyrics were a vital force for bringing the messages of urban student activism out to the provinces. In the wake of the massacre at thammasat university, the band fled Bangkok, some heading into the mountains of the northeast to join the communist insurgency in armed struggle. Needless to say, their music was banned from radioplay for quite a while, broadcast only from pirate stations in the hills.
3. Caravan is a Japanese singer songwriter who started out in a band during his high school days, playing as the guitarist. In 2001, he left the band and decided to go solo. He handed out copies of his independent demo titled "Homework#1" during his live shows.
In 2004, he released his first indie album "RAW LIFE MUSIC" from the label AARON FIELDS, he followed this up with releasing another indie album in November titled "Trip in the music".
With the help of his Promotion Video of "Soul music" being played frequently on SPACE SHOWER TV, Caravan gained some popularity and in 2005, he was signed with rhythm zone (of avex label) and released his first single "DAY DREAM". In 2006, Caravan released his first major album "WANDER AROUND" and since then, he has managed to produce a album each year (2007: PANORAMA VISION, 2008: Yellow Morning, 2009: Luck and Pluck) and in 2010, he released two best of albums titled "The Planet songs: vol1 + 2."
4. Caravan is a Belgian chaotic hardcore band from Antwerp. Their debut EP is "Chaos is Ours".

As I Feel I Die
Caravan Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I'm thinking of you
Through the dreams of a million eyes
I'll stand still with you
And wait till I find
The world that you're searching for
A cloud-coloured blind
Has entered my eyes
A slight shade of purple
But me, I don't mind
Today is my day
I'm living the life that I choose
I've found a way
I can see a noser
Sit there all alone
And dream I'm sitting here
While magic fires the moon
I turn around my mind
And bid farewell to fear
Swimming through a wish
That I know I'm in a dream
I'm changing the music by ear
I'll have to leave behind
To reensure them in
And wanting oh so clear
Deep insert of time
I catch my breath to find I've got so far to go
Howlin' through the trees
A cry which is my ears
I turn around and go
Following the dream
Is not the easiest thing
Out of the shadows I see
And blackened till the moon
A magic creature moves
And says belongs to me
The lyrics to Caravan's song "As I Feel I Die" evoke a dream-like state where the singer is lost in their thoughts, thinking about someone they care for deeply. The opening stanza sees the singer with a song on their mind, thinking about the person to whom they are singing. They stand still with this person, waiting to find the world that they're searching for, but a cloud-coloured blind has entered the singer's eyes, indicating a possible confusion or lack of clarity. However, everything is going a slight shade of purple, which the singer doesn't mind because they are living the life that they have chosen. The last line of this stanza ("I've found a way") demonstrates the singer's sense of freedom and confidence in their choices.
In the second part of the song, the singer appears to be lost in a daydream, swimming through a wish, and changing the music by ear. They leave behind fears (possibly fears associated with their relationship with the person they are thinking of), but these fears are clearly seen, indicating that they have not entirely gone away. There is a sense of urgency in the line "I catch my breath to find I've got so far to go," signifying a feeling of being behind in achieving their goals. The song ends with the singer following a dream that is not easy, but they see a magic creature that belongs to them.
This song is an emotional journey with a strong dreamlike and psychedelic undertone. The lyrics can be interpreted in different ways, although they suggest someone's attempt to escape their fears and follow their dreams. The song's title ("As I Feel I Die") has a dramatic and almost theatrical feel, hinting at something of the singer's struggle.

With a song on my mind
I have a melody in my head
I'm thinking of you
You are constantly on my mind
Through the dreams of a million eyes
In the imaginations of countless people
I'll stand still with you
I will remain by your side
And wait till I find
Until I locate
The world that you're searching for
The place you are seeking
A cloud-coloured blind
An obstruction that is gray like the clouds
Has entered my eyes
I am unable to see clearly
And everything's going
The world appears to be
A slight shade of purple
Hued slightly towards the color lilac
But me, I don't mind
But it does not affect me negatively
Today is my day
This is my moment
I'm living the life that I choose
I am making my own way
I've found a way
I have discovered a path
I can see a noser
I envision someone else
Sit there all alone
Who is sitting in isolation
And dream I'm sitting here
Fantasizing about being in my place
While magic fires the moon
As if the moon is ablaze with magic
I turn around my mind
I shift my thoughts
And bid farewell to fear
And cast aside my worries
Swimming through a wish
I am immersed in a desire
That I know I'm in a dream
And I am aware that this is not reality
I'm changing the music by ear
I am improvising the tune
I'll have to leave behind
I will need to abandon
To reensure them in
To comfort others
And wanting oh so clear
And their desire is evident
Deep insert of time
A significant moment in time
I catch my breath to find I've got so far to go
I realize that I have a long journey ahead
Howlin' through the trees
The sound of a wolf's cry echoing in the forest
A cry which is my ears
The howl is resonating in my head
I turn around and go
I change direction and depart
Following the dream
Pursuing my aspiration
Is not the easiest thing
Is challenging
Out of the shadows I see
Emerging from obscurity
And blackened till the moon
Darkened so that the moon appears dim
A magic creature moves
A mystical being approaches
And says belongs to me
And claims that I am theirs
