My Bad
Carnivore A.M. Lyrics

She told me that my bad, yeah
But I've been counting up this cash, whoa
This time I hope that it will last, hold up
I know they be getting mad, yuh
She told me that my bad, yeah
But I've been counting up this cash, whoa
This time I hope that it will last, hold up
I know they be getting mad, yuh
Getting money every day yeah
I don't give attention I'm just getting paid yeah
Choppa on me better get away yeah
I'm just counting up how much money I made yeah
New whip I'm going fast you run it up
Choppa on me it'll blast you better duck
They telling me I'm trash don't give a fuck
I'ma be on top don't interrupt
I've been working every day
She say she in love now she 'gon play
Yeah, I won't do it for the fame
Fucking with this bitch they all the same yeah yeah yeah
I can stack it up and run it up
I don't give a fuck don't give a fuck
Money on my mind that's all I want
I've been pouring, pouring up my cup
Pour it up, it's too full
Watch me move up ranks while you fold
Ice on my neck yeah it's cold
I just bought a new whip yeah it's sold
Pour it up, it's too full
Watch me move up ranks while you fold
Ice on my neck yeah it's cold
I just bought a new whip yeah it's sold
She told me that my bad, yeah
But I've been counting up this cash, whoa
This time I hope that it will last, hold up
I know they be getting mad, yuh
She told me that my bad, yeah
But I've been counting up this cash, whoa
This time I hope that it will last, hold up
I know they be getting mad, yuh

Wow 👌 This is such a great video. There's SO many key takeaways to learn in this, thank you! Well done on your success! If I could sum up the Carnivore diet in one word about how it has changed my life, it would be that I have seen the ability to:
THRIVE
I've personally found very similar benefits when I've stuck with this way of eating (yes, between Keto and Carnivore I've tested to and fro a couple time's). I have a couple of follow up questions if you have the time:
- Do you think the mental health improvement is associated with the fact you're using ketones and your brain prefers this energy source? The mental health improvements I've also experienced. More mental clarity, brain fog disappeared, no afternoon sleepiness, more positive feeling in general.
- When starting the Carnivore diet I think you mentioned you stuck with beef, salt, water, butter and eggs? Or no eggs? Did you also restrict your total calories or track protein and fat in any way? Did you just jump right into IF and if so, what was your schedule like?
I'm currently moving house and unfortunately don't have access to a kitchen! It's killing me. I really enjoy cooking and struggle with trying to figure out healthy food. I understand during this time I need to adjust my standards a little (which is really tough once you KNOW what's in a lot of food, it's a real turn off thinking about not being able to cook my own food from scratch and yes, I've been called a food snob but that's ok). I'm not interested in reverting to SAD even for this couple of week's without a kitchen and in reality, It's not even an option because if I DO eat SAD, within 48hrs I'm so severely inflamed and puffy and have so much full body pain! I literally strap ice packs all over my body in an attempt to cope with the pain. It's just not worth it. Once you know how good you can feel when you eat as you're designed to do, you just know you can't go back.
I don't eat chicken or pork ordinarily because I've noticed an inflammatory response when I do. My ordinary life when able to cook, would be IF 20:4 and my meat is normally lamb or beef, fresh or dried herbs and butter. Plus lots of egg yolks. Occasionally I eat wild caught red sockeye salmon but it's sometimes challenging to find when I'm ONLY interested in wild caught. Not like in the US where I never struggled to find it.
I know this might be near impossible, but do you have ANY suggestions about how I might be able to stay largely Carnivore and not processed foods without any ability to cook food? Omg the struggle is real.
This video was so incredible and interesting to me because I had noticed many similar health benefits but I thought I must be crazy. My asthma disappeared. My inflammation went away. I'd had so much body pain, like systemic inflammation that, provided I STICK with this way of eating, it's gone! Yes, when strictly following Carnivore I lost 30Lb in 8 weeks. More like 6 weeks actually, but I don't want people to have false expectations. In my case, I had major inflammatory troubles after covid, along with excess histamines which caused major digestive problems. Carnivore hit the re-set button. But, while some people may be able to deviate and include things like cruciferous vegetables, I'm definitely NOT one of those people. If I deviate then it's a conscious choice, and I'm well aware that I'm likely going to need a good 48+ hrs to re-set back to feeling 100%. I agree with the comment about turning the focus around. It's not about the weight loss. It's a genuine lifestyle choice and the health benefits go well beyond losing a few pounds. Also, I have noticed my body always returns to the same set-point without any conscious weight management in mind. That happens to be on the low end of a normal BMI (yes, I know BMI is not a good measurement, but I find it interesting that my body naturally returns to the same set point). I particularly looked at the BMI simply because family were telling me I was too skinny. But I felt healthy and normal. So, since it was a constant concern for everyone, I checked it, and the next couple of times people started hassling me about my weight I literally just showed them a screenshot of where I sat on the BMI chart. That put a swift end to the discussion (criticism), since these same people are really only familiar with BMI and not aware of other health indicators 🤣 I simply said, I feel good, and see? My BMI is totally normal! I think criticism is often just an indicator that they are uncomfortable either with how resolute Carnivore folk are, because it makes them feel a little shaky in their own personal food choices, or sadly, some people simply don't want to see you looking and feeling so healthy because it perhaps makes them less secure about their own health. But in both of these cases, it's important to remember that their criticism is just a reflection of their own personal insecurities (at least that's my personal experience but maybe not so for everyone).

My cousin had terrible liver numbers for 30 years. He was diagnosed with Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. He went Keto (almost carnivore), eliminated sugar, industrial seed oils, and processed foods. His numbers went to normal within 3 months. Keep up the good videos! And THANK YOU!!

I'm hoping for the same, I currently have fatty liver

You hit the nail on the head!
I wish I would have started this way of eating 30 years ago. Last year I felt like I could die at any moment. I went to the ER a couple times, went through numerous tests, but they couldn't find the solution. I had hypertension, metabolic disease, and was passing blood in my urine. No answers. I stumbled across the diet while trying to fix my blood pressure. I have to say after only three months that I feel amazing!
I am off all my meds, have such mental and physical state of wellbeing. I can't believe it! I am in my 50's and feel like I'm in my 30's.
I am no longer feeling like death.
It has changed my life.

WOW THIS IS SUPER INSPIRING. Again real people and real results. You ought to be super proud of yourself David. Sending you lots of love and gratitude for you to share this incredible story. Getting off your meds by changing your diet. How powerful is that?? You are a legend, and an inspiration for many. Thank you so much for confirming what is possible when we take control of our lives and return to the ancestral way of eating what is real food. Petra and I are with you and we love you! Lets keep shining with our results and hope to spread this message globally 💙🙌🌟

The only thing better than a lovely young person discovering the wonders of carnivore and sharing the experience with the world is TWO lovely young people doing this. This is beautiful. I'm working on my 10th year of carnivore. You two give me hope for the upcoming generations of carnivores.
Yes, it does feel like a superpower. It is returning to the way we evolved to eat. Eating SAD is like trying to put diesel in a jet engine. When you finally get the right fuel for your body, everything just goes, "CLICK", and it fits. Everything gets easier.

@The Meaters Well, when I started, there were no Drs. Baker, Berry, and Saladino on the scene but there already were the folks at ZIOH (including the amazing Kelly Hogan although she didn't have a website back then) and ZCH websites and forums. Those are the true OGs. There were a few beefy body building dudes doing carnivore to "get jacked" but that didn't talk me into it. Those guys also take steroids. It was when I found Amber O'Hearn and Dr. Georgia Ede that I finally put the big picture together. They were my inspirations. You two will be inspiring others long after I am not around.
I was pretty active on the Paleo/Primal forum run by Mark Sisson called Mark's Daily Apple and I announced my intention to go carnivore there on 1/1/2013. Boy, did I get a bunch of pushback. It was like screaming into the void. The Paleo folks were fine with understanding that fat and meat are not evil but they just couldn't give up that side order of veg and what Mark calls Big Ass Salads. It was as if they clung to those things as evidence that ,"We are not crazy people eating unhealthy things. Look we eat salads."

The Meaters

Wow from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU. We appreciate the love and wow can't believe you have been doing it for that long. You are the carnivore OG. Much respect and kudos to you! We only wish we can inspire more people to get to that point where it all "Clicks!" Thank you for the kind words and sending you lots of love and light💙🌟
