Caroline got that audience in October of 2016, when she appeared on the nationally televised HLN network show MichaeLA, with television personality Michaela Pereira. Caroline performed a deeply personal song entitled "Inside," which she wrote in an effort to bring comfort to teenagers like herself who have struggled with the issue of body shaming. Caroline has worked hard to be a voice for everyone who has felt the pain and destructive effects of bullying, and has partnered with the PACER organization to address this important topic in the age of social media.
A unique and passionate force in the music world, Caroline is a breath of fresh air who is forging a path of her own in this industry.

Winter coats and technicolor dreams
This puzzle's quite delirious
Iβm past the point of curious
itβs driving me crazy
Letters, shapes and everyone I donβt know
pictures in the golden gallery
Or tell me where to find a plan
For dreamers who dream like me
I, I, I
Is anybody on my side
All I see are warning signs
In street lights and poems I know Iβm alone in this ride
Back and forth and up and down
Iβm dizzy
Side to side then round and round
Iβm spinning
I donβt like this show
I want to take it slowly
Iβm dizzy
All I see are figurines and shadows
Paintings of the past they used to be
Absurdity and modern art
Will watch me as I fall apart
And I can hear them laughing in my sleep
I, I, I
Is anybody on my side
All I see are warning signs
In street lights and poems I know Iβm alone in this ride
Back and forth and up and down
Iβm dizzy
Side to side then round and round
Iβm spinning
I donβt like this show
I want to take it slowly
Iβm dizzy
(Dizzy)
(Iβm dizzy)
(Dizzy)
(Iβm dizzy)
Back and forth and up and down
Iβm dizzy
Side to side then round and round
Iβm spinning
I donβt like this show
I want to take it slowly
Iβm dizzy
In the first verse of "Dizzy," Caroline Romano describes a sense of disorientation and confusion. She sees a multitude of people but feels disconnected from them, unable to see their true identities or understand their intentions. The reference to "winter coats and technicolor dreams" implies that she is surrounded by people who seem ordinary on the surface but have hidden depths of imagination and aspirations. It's like trying to piece together a puzzle that becomes increasingly overwhelming, pushing her past mere curiosity to the brink of insanity.
The second verse continues with this theme of feeling lost and isolated. She sees letters and shapes, representing the different voices and faces in her life that she doesn't recognize. The "golden gallery" suggests a collection of images and experiences that have accumulated, yet she seeks guidance or a plan to navigate through these dreams and uncertainties. She longs for someone who can understand her unique perspective as a dreamer and offer support or direction.
The chorus reinforces her sense of being alone. She questions if anyone is on her side, as all she perceives are warning signs in the form of street lights and poems. These symbols represent the external world's attempts to communicate with her, but they only serve to highlight her solitude and isolation within her own mind. The repetition of "I, I, I" emphasizes her individual experience and the overwhelming weight of her emotions.
The bridge of the song provides a metaphorical description of her state of mind. She feels caught in a constant cycle of motion, swaying back and forth and spinning round and round. This continuous movement adds to her dizziness and reinforces her desire to slow down and find stability. The figurines and shadows represent her perception of the people and events around her, with the paintings symbolizing memories of a past that no longer aligns with her reality. The absurdity and modern art emphasize a feeling of disconnect from the world, as though she is falling apart while others find amusement in her struggles.
The final repetition of the chorus and the word "dizzy" further emphasize her feelings of disorientation and confusion. She longs for a slower pace and a better understanding of herself and her surroundings. Overall, "Dizzy" captures the emotional rollercoaster of feeling lost, disconnected, and overwhelmed, expressing a desire for stability and understanding in a chaotic world.

Honestly, it'd feel more appropriate thanking you for never ceasing to amaze our ears! Never thought I'd say that effects blessed artist's natural vocals, but you did it for me with Dizzy. Not sure if I'll see you in my state, but I do hope I'll live to see you live someday. Till then, having a "pocket Caroline" will do, hahahah.

Caroline surprises me every time I hear her music. Again and again and again. Dizzy is one of the rare music videos I've seriously paid attention to because I'm not personally a visual guy. From the production, to the sound, the lyrics, the energy, vocals, style, personality... Romano never brings us nothing less but radio hits, yet I still have to hear her on a station. I'm mindblown by how underrated good music gets. And as much as I want to gatekeep this, there's a side that screams "please, people, listen to this!"
