I dare say that I was the first student to wear a white bikini on a very tanned body on the sunroof of the University of Rochester in NY state in 1962. I was an exchange student from Germany and I was afraid the roof would collapse under the weight of all the on-lookers . OMG it was totally crazy. On weekends I would visit Jones beach and attracted reporters who wanted to have my photo in the newspaper. May I say that I was really very cute then , being just 22 yrs.old .Those were the days my friends ! Young , adored and carefree!. Those years just flew by too fast. I am 83 years old now. good memories , maybe I will die soon, never before have I dived into my past like this.
