She enjoys this feeling of being twisted up in her lover's desires as it brings out an ecstasy in her that only their relationship can bring. By saying "Twisted, I am twisted up in you", she further emphasizes how much she desires to be in this situation with her lover.
In the second verse, she sings about how her desire has grown to new heights. Being next to her lover's fire and being tangled up with them takes her to a higher level of twisted bliss. She is astonished that she didn't see how much she wanted to be in this situation before. It is clear that her lover takes her to extreme heights, even if it takes her time to get there.
