Cesare Cremonini Lyrics

Come strilla questo motore
Come va
Ed io so solamente andare
Per me
Guarda qua
Come strilla questo mio cuore
Come va
Uh
Lo sarei andato a riprendere, eh
In Cesare Cremonini's song "46 in 4," the lyrics delve into themes of resilience, determination, and the pursuit of personal growth. The singer reflects on the intense emotions and inner conflicts they experience as they navigate through life. The lyrics open with a powerful description of a roaring engine and the sense of movement and progress it embodies. The singer compares themselves to this unstoppable force, filled with a passion that cannot be held back.
The mention of fears, the eyes of their father, and broken bones hint at past struggles and challenges that have marked the singer's journey. However, the music inside them rises up, symbolizing their inner strength and drive to move forward despite the obstacles. This internal music serves as a source of motivation that propels them onward, undeterred by past hardships.
The lyrics shift to a reflection on the singer's heart, likening its beating to the powerful roar of an engine. Just as the engine cannot be silenced, the singer's love and determination cannot be extinguished. They acknowledge the echoes of past words and injuries, possibly from their mother, but the music within them continues to elevate their spirit and guide their path.
The singer expresses a need to leave in order to reclaim a part of themselves, a journey symbolized by the plastic-like asphalt and the feeling that each race they undertake may be their last. Despite feeling like the world is speeding ahead of them, they make a solemn vow to catch up, reclaiming what was lost and pushing themselves to achieve their goals. The determination to not be left behind resonates strongly in the final statement of intent to go back and claim what is rightfully theirs.
Overall, "46 in 4" captures the essence of a relentless pursuit of personal growth and self-discovery amidst challenges and setbacks. The driving force of inner music, the imagery of racing against time, and the determination to overcome obstacles all come together to paint a portrait of resilience and unwavering resolve.
